 ULTIMATE GADGET FREAK GADGET

If you have a video iPod - just imagine sitting anywhere - laying down in a hammock, and watching an image virtually being projected onto a 42" display at 7 feet away.
I can't wait to get these - it says they are for sale at Sharper Image.  I can't wait to get them and watch movies on a plane, or TV shows on my iPod sitting in the bathtub.  It works with any A/V source, so if you have a laptop computer - you're all set up.

I wonder if I could use a dozen of these at a bridal show to have brides watch my shows? What about sound?

Great marketing idea!!

Speaking of Mel look-a-likes, check out my banks website address. The girl sitting there with her laptop could pass as Mel's sister! For sometime I even thought she might be doing commercials!! Are you doing some side jobs now, Melissa? ha!

Ok, so it's a rotating ad that the bank uses. (Mel's look-a-like) If you click on it a couple of time a girl in an orange shirt sitting on a couch with a laptop will pop up. Trust me, it's really there and I'm not making this stuff up!

sony made something like this a long time ago....

oh I found it on eBay - the sony glasstron! http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Glasstron-PLM-A35-LCD-monitor-video-glasses_W0QQitemZ120014572245QQcmdZViewItem

There were also some models of this coming out of Japan with a higher resolution screen etc. The Glasstron deffinetly looks MUCH cooler and I wore one in person @ a sony store a while back and it was pretty cool..

I wonder what effects these tiny color monitors might have so close to our eyes with radiation. I was always told that there is radiation coming out of our color TV sets and never to sit that close to the screen, even more so with the Plasmas I have and the LCD sets in my home. Hmmm.....what these comapnies don't tell us.
