| | I WANTED TO BE A BUS DRIVER...
Today we rode on a bus from our apartment to Chinatown. Buses are free within the district which is pretty cool because parking can be a real issue downtown. When I was a kid and everybody wanted to be an astronaut, or a fireman, I wanted to be a bus driver. My grandfather didn't drive, so whenever we went anywhere we went on the bus. My grandpa was the nicest man. He would always pick me up with my grandmother and on easter he would take me to Pier 52 for lunch at Ivars, then he would take me to a store so I could select an easter bunny. We moved from Seattle when I was 8, but I remember how much fun it was going on bus rides with my grandpa. I kept all of my easter bunnies all the way through to college because I just couldn't get rid of them. He died when I was 12 and that was the worst thing to lose him. I miss him still, but mostly today when we took the bus ride in Seattle. I'm starting to really feel at home in my hometown LOL. |
