| | THE STEREOTYPE OF A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR I just got done reading a great book by Valerie Plame on the CIA leak story. While much of the book is redacted, she talks a lot about espionage and the spicy life of a real-life spy. One of the most valued things I've done is have Private Investigators working for me. I have them in three different states, doing surveillance.
While there is a lot of great listening devices, etc. that the private spy's can purchase, the thing that gives them most of their covert info is by simply befriending either that person, or somebody who is close to that person. There is more information freely blabbed than can get found by using bugging devices. I normally get a weekly report when I have somebody under surveillance. But when the subject is on the move, I get a special report regarding the particulars. Here's what it looks like.
