yeah, homosexuality was still a sin before Christianity. Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism, and the ten commandments was given to the Jews. But they still apply to Christians, and everyone else for that matter. Granted, homosexuality isn't mentioned in the ten commandments, but there were still laws against it in the old testament, before Christ came and Christianity began.

I'm a republican by the way lol. But I don't necessarily agree with everything associated with the republican party. Still, feel free to hate me all you want.

I don't hate you either haha. Yeah, aaron is actually a pretty smart guy, he's just trying to annoy james, something that's not hard to do lol. But anyways,

"there isnt enough water for it to rain 40 days and 40 nights."

You're making the assumption that many people make, and it's not hard to do. You're assuming that 6000 years ago the world was the same as it is today. The atmosphere was actually very different. The bible mentions another atmospheric layer that was composed of water. "Genesis 1:7
Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so." So there was a divison between the water on the earth and the water in the sky, possibly a layer of ice that was kept in place by the earth's magnetic field, since really cold ice is magnetic.

Anyways, when God flooded the earth, this layer was released, and it would have been a massive amount of water, and the water running through underground passageways exploded onto the surface. "Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."

So the earth wasn't flooded purely by rain, but by massive amounts of rain and the fountains under the earth flooding the oceans.

"a flood that severe could have only occured if the continents sunk, which iÊdoubt ever happened."

Actually, there is evidence that Mt. Everest was at one time under water. Sedimentary rock, a type of rock that is formed only in water, was found on top of mt. everest, along with clam shells and oysters. So if the highest point in the world was under water..the rest would have had to have been too.

I heard that really cold ice is magnetic, I've never tested the theory, but who knows? lol

"if there had been a layer of atmosphereic (spelling) ice, where did it go to?"

In the ocean right now. 6,000 years ago, it's believed that the earth was mainly land. Today, it's 70% water. So the flood covered up most of the land and formed the continents as we know them today.

And yes, I believe eveything in Genesis actually occured. I've taken three philosophy classes in college, one was science and religion, and another dealt entirely with creation vs. evolution. There is a ton of evidence that supports the creation account and the theory of evolution is slowly falling apart (and I dont' attend a Christian college, this was a secular professor teaching this). Most of the people who still believe in evolution, by which I mean one species turning into another, are people who learned it in highschool a long time ago and never researched it again. Scientists who study the theory, for the most part, agree that it is flawed.

"in places like the grand canyon, sedimentary rock millions of years is exposed-and within that rock, there are single celled organism fossils."

First, I don't believe the earth is millions of years old. I believe it's only about 6000 years old. The methods geologists use to date things are seriously flawed (not all of them but many). Text books tell us that it takes stalagmites two thousand years to grow an inch. Well, where I work we have a tunnel that goes underneath some railroad tracks. There are stalagmites there at least 6 inches long, but the tunnel was built in 1928. That's not even a hundred years. SO don't believe every you read regarding the age of rocks and such.

"Another question, do you think God also created Neanderthals and other homorectus species?"

No, because they never existed. You know that chart that shows the evolution of man in various stages, staring with Lucy the monkey? Every single so called missing link has been shown to be either fully human or fully monkey. Neanderthal man was examined by Dr A.J. Cave and he said the skeleton was actually an old man suffering from arthritis. Its founder said that since it had a hunched back, that was proof of a monkey slowly rising up to walk on two legs. Actually, it was a man slowly going down lol. Cro-Magnon man, said to be equal to modern man in physique and brain capascity...ok so what's the difference? Nebraska man was reconstructed from a single tooth...they put his whole physique together from ONE tooth they thought was a half man/half ape. Years later they found out it was a tooth from an extinct pig. One of the others..piltdown man I think, was a deliberate hoax. Its founder was given grant money and told to "go to africa and find a missing link" Two weeks before his grant money was to run out, he "found" one. He used the bones of a man and put with them a jawbone of an ape he found two miles away from the human bones and said they were found together.

"Also if God created Adam in the image of himself, then why are the so many varied races?"

THe spirit was created in the image of God. God has no physical form, He is spirit, therefore He couldn't fashion us after Himself in a physical sense.

"Adaption, occording to Charles Darwin, was caused by natural selection-which is also a theory. All it's saying is that members of that group that have traits that better enable them to survive are the ones that give way to the next genertion"

I agree, but adaptation and evolution are totally different. Adaptation says that a dog can adapt to its environment and become what we call a wolf. Evolution says that a dog can change its DNA and become a bird. Actually, evolution says we all came from a rock. According to the theory, after the big bang, the earth was formed and it was really hot. As it cooled, rocks formed and then it rained on them for millions of years, ultimately creating life...somehow. What requires more faith, to believe that all the dogs in the world came from two dogs on Noahs ark, or to believe that they came from a rock?

Aaron calls everyone a fag lol.

And I agree, debating is fun when it's with someone who knows what they're talking about. My problem with evolution is that it can't happen. Not in the way we're taught it can. We're taught in school that "frog + time = human" How is that possible? The argument I hear is mutations are responsible. But mutations dont' add any new genetic information, it's actually a loss of information and it doesn't add in survival. Mutations can only work with the genetic information available within a species. For example, if I rearrange the letters in "Christmas" I can get new words like "Chris, Shirt, Smart," but I can't get the words "Florida, Water, Television" because the extra letters just aren't available. Oh, and you said "Individual organisms cannot change themselves in order to survive. They can't grow longer legs, or change their coloring." I just saw a picture of a bull that was born with an extra leg. It doesn't do it any good, but it happend lol. And there have been cases where fresh water aligators adapted to their changing environment and became salt water aligators.

Evolution is not a science, it's a religion backed by the state. Nothing that evoloution teaches is observable or repeatable. Darwin believed that it had to have taken place so he came up with a theory as to how it happened, but there is no way to know, that's what makes it a religion, it requires faith. ANd even if it was true, what kind of world would we be living in? We would have no purpose, no meaning, no reason to be here other than to live and fight to be the best and then die. If evolution is true, then we have to way of knowing right from wrong and everything goes. That's not a world I want to live in. That's not a world we were meant to live in.

"Natural selection (survival of the fittest) leads to adaption, which leads to evoluiton"

More like "survival of the luckiest". If a whale is eating a school of fish, and 20 fish escape, they're not the fittest, they're just lucky. What makes an animal the fittest?

Natural selection can't lead to evolution either. If I work on an assembly line, seperating good cars from bad ones, how long would it take before the good cars turn into airplanes? Even if they were given 4 million years, it wouldn't happen lol.

I dont' think you're a moron, I think you're actually really smart compaired to a lot of 15 year olds I know.

"Both people are of the same species, but since both of them are better suited to thier different envirments, they're suited to survive."

I agree, but this isn't evolution. If the man stranded in the artic circle survived because of natural selection, and adapted to his environment by becoming fatter or something, that's fine, I have no problem with that. But the man will never grow a hide of fur like a polar bear or develope blubber or the skin of a penguin in order to survive longer.

"why should i believe in God if I never experienced or saw anything that had anything to do with God? So far in my life, nothing ever told me that He exists, so why should I believe?"

You're only 15, maybe you haven't had too many opportunities to find God, maybe you haven't really looked, I dont know, but if you seek Him out, you will find Him. The burden isn't entirely yours either, God is also looking for you. You say you've never saw anything that had anything to do with God, but creation is proof of His existence. A painting has a painter, a building has a builder, a watch has a watch maker, and creation has a creator. The proof is all around you. If you ever come to the conclusion that God is real, and I really hope you do, there is still another step involved. If there is a God who is powerful enough to create the entire universe just by speaking it into existence, what does that have to do with you? The Bible says you've offended Him. Your friends have offended Him, your mom, your cousin, me, the entire world. The book of Romans says "No one is good, no not even one". Every sin we commit is an offense to God, and God being pure and holy cannot be in the presence of sin. He said if you tell one lie you're a liar, if you steal one thing you're a thief, if you use His name to express disgust or hatred you're a blasphemer. The bible continues to say that liars, thieves, blasphemers, murderers, adulterers, idolaters, homosexuals, all will have their part in the lake of fire (hell). That's the bad news.

The rest of this is from a website called The Way of the Master. It's long, but if you want the good news, you should probably read it lol.

Can you see your predicament? You are guilty of sinning against God Himself, and, because you have a conscience, (con-with, science-knowledge) you have sinned "with knowledge."

Isn't it true that every time you lied, stole, or lusted, etc., you knew it was wrong? Perhaps you think God is good and because of his goodness He will overlook your sins? But if you knew of a human judge who turned a blind eye to the crimes of a guilty rapist... would you describe him as a "good" judge? Of course not.

God does not want you to perish. He is rich in mercy and compassion, and has provided a way for you to be forgiven. He has invited you to come to Him for a full pardon and receive the free gift of Eternal Life. You cannot earn it, and you do not deserve it, but God is offering it to you as proof of His love for you.

Imagine you are standing in front of a judge, guilty of multiple serious crimes. All the evidence has been presented and there is no doubt about your guilt. Your apologies and good works cannot erase your crimes; therefore you must be punished. The fine for your crime is $250,000 or imprisonment, but you don’t have two pennies to rub together. The judge is about to pass sentence when someone you don't even know steps in and pays your fine for you! The court accepts the money and declares that you are free to go. The law has been satisfied, your debt has been paid in full, and the stranger’s sacrifice was a demonstration of his love for you. That’s what God did for you 2000 years ago.

The Bible says that the God of the Universe became a man (Jesus Christ), and suffered and died on the cross for your sins and mine so that we could be set free. It's as simple as this—we broke the Law, and Jesus paid our fine.

"God demonstrated His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us." (Galatians 3:13)

Do you see God’s great love for you? Do you see your need for His forgiveness? Do what He commands and “Repent…that your sins may be wiped out and times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” (Acts 3:19) You must turn away from sin and turn to God. Desire to have NOTHING to do with sin, and surrender your life to the One who can save you. Jesus died to set you free, and then he rose from death to be your Lord. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” If you will confess and forsake your sins (repent) and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, God will forgive you and you’ll pass from death to life.

If you are not sure how to pray, read Psalm 51 and make it your prayer.

What does it mean to "put your faith in Jesus Christ?" It means to personally trust in Jesus the same way you’d trust in a parachute if you had to jump 25,000 feet out of an airplane. You wouldn’t just "believe" in the parachute; you would put it on! In the same way, the Bible says, "Put on the Lord Jesus Christ..." and you will be saved. There are millions of people who "believe" Jesus exists . . . but they have not put on the Savior—there’s a BIG difference. And the difference will be obvious when you “jump” through the door of death.

Today, with all your heart—turn away from sin, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Please don’t put it off till later. You may die today and then it will be too late. You may not yet have all the answers to your questions, but better to put on the parachute first and then ask questions, than to pass through the door unprepared, grasping for the parachute when it’s too late. You can pray something like this—"Dear God, today I turn from all my sins (name them), and I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, and grant me your gift of everlasting life. Amen." There is nothing magic about these words—it is the attitude of your heart that God cares about.

God will transform you from the inside out. You will think and feel differently as you learn to trust and obey Him. God will give you new strength to live right and love Him above all else. Read your Bible daily and obey His Word. You can trust God—He loves you and will always be faithful.
