I HAD A TALK WITH A GODLY WOMAN I'VE KNOWN FOR ABOUT A YEAR TONIGHT...

AND WE AGREED TO PRAY ABOUT IT OVER THE PERIOD OF ONE WEEK AND SEE WHERE GOD LEADS US FROM THERE...

I like your question about God being foremost, especially because I have had relationships without God for so long, and it is remarkable how much, when God came into my life, my relationship with my husband changed for the good.

i think having a God centered focus is the healthiest relationship. props to you in finding that love.
sometimes we choose to find love b/c we want to fill the void we have in our life. but what we don't know is that those king of love that we try to find is lust. the real love is from Him, just knowing that He loves us so much is the best feeling ever! there are times i forget that and want what the "love" that is more tangible? but just trusting in Him and allowing him to bring the right one to my life is the best way. i know He wants the best for His children.

Hey dude. Thanks for the comment. That's great news about the possiblity of a Godly relationship. Just make sure you are really ready...it is definately a committment & you will also have to learn to balance your time with God & your time with your mate...sometimes it's hard. It's only been 2 months with Eddie & I'm already feeling a little what's the word...ummm...not sure? about things? Hmmm...I just miss the days when it was just me and God!!! I got a taste of that again on the trip & it really has made me think a lot!

Great entry, Jimmy! Definitely random, but still God-centered at the same time. And I wish you two the best in whatever decision you guys come to. May God bless both of you as you make this decision together.

As for the question you posed at the beginning of the post, I've been letting God lead my relationships.... meaning I haven't had one yet because He doesn't think it's time. Oh well.... God'll let me know when the right one comes.
