QUESTION OF THE DAY: WHAT DO YOU WRITE ON XANGA?

DONE WITH FINALS!

Wow, the last entry had alot of response..

NOw, I could work on some articles defending the Christian faith for my website!

HERE"S SOMETHING FUN TO DO:

Find your 24th post. Now find the 5th sentence (it's supposed to say something about you). Post it on your site.

I think it reveals a bit of what one's xanga tendency to be about....

I did this and this was what I found ON DEcember 8th, 2004...

"The doctrine of Incarnation and the Trinity has resulted in more profound worship in my own personal life, to see God’s love and His mysterious way of saving me"

I think that as Christians while not every single post necessarily mention God in every sentence, our Xanga should be submitted under the Lordship of Christ...AMEN?!

ANd it should definitely not be contrary to HIS WORD...

Amen Thanks for visiting LaleoCafe.

RYC: I was just surfing and came accross your site. My latest series of post ave been about Bible difficulties, so, when I saw your last post it sparked an interest. I did a pretty comprehensive series of postings on the Trinity that you may find interesting. The links are below:

The Trinity:
-- PART 1: Ancient Brush Strokes Give us a Clear Picture
-- PART 2: Brush Stroke of Elohim
-- PART 3: Brush Strokes of Scriptural Revelation
-- PART 4: Brush Strokes of Scriptural Revelation
-- PART 5: Common Illustrations
-- PART 6: Common Misconceptions

God bless!

Amen!

I have heard of it actually. I havn't gotten very far indepth with it, however, I still hold to more of a classical approach. I used to have a very similar process of thinking that an agnostic/athiest would have, and that said, I know how I would have wanted to be approached by an apologist. I don't think letting any sort of presupposition affect an arguement (too much) can help to win an arguement. Of course, presuppositions is what instigates a debate, but you get what I'm saying. Could you share your thoughts on that?

You asked, "What is one book every Church Library should have." Good question and lots of answers. I think a revolutionary book for all Christians ought to be, "Perspectives" Which is a compilation of articles and studies on what the church ought to be doing in the world. It's more than a book, its a course of study that can change the way the church lives. Another decent classic (written in the 1600's) I like for devotional readings and incentive to holiness is by William Gurnall, "A Christian in Complete Armor." The abridged version by David Wilkerson is awesome! I get blessed by Brennan Manning, especially his book "Ruthless Trust." For leadership read Leighton Ford's "Transforming Leadership." It is full of timeless truths on each page! There ya have it....

FIGURES your sentence would be all fantastically profound! Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy . . . well sir, in my opinion, what else COULD you be besides a pastor? You exude pastorship from your pores. And as far as Nancy being as pastor's wife . . . well . . . are things getting that serious? My, my.

Anyway. Watch the movie and see your fate LOLOL.

Exodus isn't non-fiction by the way . . . it's largely based on fact but I suppose you could classify it as a novel. But it's a fantastic book. Yup.

Okay, let me go do this sentence thing.

amen. :D
ok, i TOTALLY agree w/you on the physical baptism.
i'm not sure if i agree w/you that EVERY believer is baptized inthe
Holy Spirit just automaticaly. i think that has to be a decision.
i know people who don't believe in it at all and think it's
of the devil... can you show me some verses that would support
your position? i'll try and find some that support mine. i haven't
researched it a great deal, that is just my understanding of it so far..
thanks! in Christ, elizabeth

Ok this was actually kinda fun to go back through all my old posts lol. But this is mine, found on Dec. 13 04,

>But I have to get up, I have to show, Show that I can continue, Show that I am not afraid.<

Yeah it was the fifth whole sentence from a poem titled Hell's Most Wanted List.

I just wanted to say how thankful and blessed I am that you let God work through you so openly and strongly. You are a blesseng from far away lol. Even though I may never meet you until Heaven I know I have found a friend even if for just a little while. Thanks for the prayers too, greatly appreciated, really.

Good quote.

In answer to your question on my blog, yes, I am into Astronomy - but that is the science of studying the universe for what it is physically. What you are thinking of is Astrology, and while I do believe that the heavens often mirror great events on earth (i.e. the Star above Bethlehem pointing to Christ's birth, and the supernova in 1054 when the Great Schism between Eastern and Western Churches occurred [now visible through a telescope as the Crab Nebula]), I do not believe that they predict or cause them.

24th entry, 5th sentence: "Wow, talented person she is..."   Haha, it sounds like I'm admiring a girl I seemed interested in, but actually I was talking about going to a new church, Grace Church. We went to this really famous lady's house who went to this church (or she was REALLy famous in korea back back back then). She was a REALLY good singer and a REALLY good artist. I was saying her singing and her artistic paintings = really talented, lol.
