EVANGELISM AND THE TRANSCENDENTAL ARGUEMENT

I AM so mad, I wrote this long entry then Xanga said I had an error, and I lost all that I wrote!

I got to go to church this evening, but in summary,

I was evangelizing with my Pastor on Bruin Walk at UCLA yesterday from 4:30 to 7:30, and this atheist came up to our table because our signs said, "IS GOD DEAD?" and "Is Atheism Dead?"

Well, He was aggressive and of a bit of a philosphical bent...

And SOUTHERN COMMANDO and other on xanga who's been following my apologetics growth may realized, I've been itching to apply the Transcendental Arguement for a while now...

SO IT WAS!

After his worldview self-destructs the Laws of Logic, the Laws of Mathemathics, the Laws of Uniformity and the Laws of Casuality, the possibility of knowledge, absolutes and certainity...

The debate ended up with the guy admission that his world view was irrational...

I remember what Dr. Banhsen had once said that when one admits to one's worldview is irrational, all you have to do is "give him the mike" to let everybody know...

It was my small scale effort of repeating "THE GREAT DEBATE" with Dr. Banhsen and Dr. Stein...my pastor thought so too, so don't think I have too big of an ego...

More and More each day, I'm appreciating Presuppositional Apologetics...

And going on with my last post, I'm most SATISFIED IN THIS APOLOGETICS BECAUSE I AM SATISFIED IN HIM!

Tommorow I will continue my Second part of "REFLECTIONS OF IDEAS AND CONSEQUENCES IN ACADEMIA"

incidentally i went to murphy hall during my lunch break cuz i needed to get a copy of my transcript and i needed to get a book from lu valle commons.  Anyways....long story short there was a guy on bruin walk with a sign that read.  "is religion for the weak" and there was another sign that i forgot what it read cuz i was in a hurry.  just thought you'd like to know in case you wanted to seek this individual out and stuff :D

Interesting.

I recently saw this written on a bath room stall, and though I don't quite agree with it, it was funny.

"God is dead"  -Neitzsche (sp?)

"Neitzsche is dead"  -God

What annoys me is when anyone makes an argument/takes a position without first thinking it through.  Whether they are right-wing or left wing, religious or atheist, so congrats on putting an idiot in his place.

Hey Jimmmy that's great to hear.  I don't mind arguing but I don't because I feel as if I'm not err...not smart but I don't know; I don't have a knack for it (for lack of a better term).  Yeah, actually I do have a church I'm going to.  Ermm, it's a Pentecostal church and it's pretty energetic.  That's about it in short but if you want more details feel free to ask.
