On a more routine note,

I had a long day yesterday, my room mate got his car towed and some errands I had to run...

So yesterday, I didn't managed to squeeze an update on here because of it (And not because its "Friday the Thirteenth"!)

I will be off to San Deigo to visit my sister...

Some people may be disillusioned about this war but the men and women who are there are that they are willing to sacrifice themselves to save others. This story is just another in that vein.

ryc, Yes, TX to OH...she should get there Sunday sometime, alot of driving for sure.

RYC: Well ya... you know people call Lieutenant Colonels "Colonel" when they speak to them... when I was an LT in a battalion, we called the commander "The Colonel"... I liked that so when I got promoted, I made my wife and kids refer to me in the third person... hee hee (but they wouldn't do it).

My cousin is a Marine Corporal... he's downrange right now.
