I've SLAYED THE DRAGON...GOD IS GOOD!

I've slayed the Dragon...My 12 page paper is finally done on alliance system and Waltz...turn it on Monday late though...but better late than never

REally got to work on developing a systematic Christian perspective on International Relations one of these days...but for now, I'm going on an AD HOC basis

I'm going to a Liberal School and I'm more convince that multilateral approach isn't always the way to go

Now I need to study for my Greek! I really need to Brush up on my Greek, all those short-term memory, well, now I'm paying for the consequences...

Well, church tommorow!

Jimmy, thanks for your comment, you pretty much nailed where I was going with that, and it was just a serious campfire at camp.

Look in the gospels and acts for some of your material for your lifetime worldview. In college I found that you could both give them what they were looking for (the prof) and invoke serious questions to their standard worldview. In many ways your international view is like real estate, based on your location and culture. The American way may not be the model for the world, just as the model for eu , asia or the east is not the model for america. Recognition of different thoughts (eastern v western), values, etc, and respect for the differences, rather than imposition of ours (or theirs) upon others is normally the key to the answer you are looking for. imho. You'll do fine. I'll let you know what day I'll be in Hollywood...see if it coincides with your schedule. Most likely this coming weekend some time.

Ah it is all Greek to me! ;)

Indeed I think an ill this nation suffers is not possessing a comprehensive philosophy on foreign relations.

Hey Jimmy, on international relations what about natural law theory? At least during WWII Neurnberg trials that was something the international community could agree on. Just a thought!

I mention natural law theory because I'm working on a paper today that deals with that very issue. I'm not sure how post-modernity views natural law but I do know one thing, that is one thing the unbeliever cannot escape. Its written on his heart.

I'm not so sure that I really knew I would be a missionary. I have seen the hand of God in it all though. What a twisting time I have had though!

It's too bad that school often turns into a mad rush to get things done, not because our fault but because they try to cram in too much stuff all at once... how can we get quality learning that way??? Argh... *sigh* back to the books mate ;)

Hey,

I was just looking through some Christian blogrings and found your site. I just wanted to say hello! Have you ever thought about getting out on the mission field? I want to challenge you to be thinking about how and where God wants to use you this summer. Think about it, he might have you trekking through the jungles in Panama, or going hut to hut in Africa. How awesome would that be?!?!

If you want more information about how you can get involved you can check out our website www.globalexpeditions.com or you can call 1-800-434-7515 Ext 6862.

God bless.
