Sometimes, you look back to look forward...

Twelve Years ago, the Oklahoma City Bombing Occured.

What a tragedy it was then.  Something to think about in light of the Virginia Tech massacre.  There's already debate about this Virginia Tech murderer's religion.

Which made me reflect back to Timothy McVeigh: Was Timothy McVeigh a Christian?

I thought I share with you a piece I wrote some time ago addressing a popular accusation that he was one, which was also featured on Tektonics Apologetics Ministry at http://www.tektonics.org/guest/mcveigh.htm

Interesting thoughts....right now I think people are looking past anyone's religion and seeing the aftermath....May God grant comfort as only he can give.....did you ever get my photoshop pics or use them?  Just wondering.

Have a blessed  day,

Mike

Cho Seung-Hui and Timothy McVeigh were both sick people who opened themselves to evil and expressed themselves in an evil way for their lust for power . Their religion was one of selfindulgence and HATE !

The only thing that is important is not the money the media people will make by keeping this stink mixing in their pot of shock but in the healing power of our Loving God . Let this be our focus and message to the world around us .

God's blessing to all !

I personally watched an interview with Timothy McVeigh where he stated, "Yes, I am a christian." I wish I could remember what newscast/show it was so that I could look it up. However....anyone can say they're a Christian, a Muslim, a Jew, a Catholic, but it doesn't mean a thing unless you follow the one basic element in every one of those religions....to love your fellow man. There is such evil in this world today. I've quit listening to what people say concerning their religions, and I've started watching how they act. God Bless your evening Jimmy, how's school going?

Thanks for your comment!  The song is by Sara Groves "He's Always Been Faithful" I think it's called, from her album "Conversations."  It's one of my favorite songs.   God bless you!  ~Marianna

We leave for Ukraine June 27 and return on July 10.

Ministry has been going great. We have been having some great meetings. Recently however we joined up with www.RepentAmerica.com for a few days and had near riots at a couple campuses in PA. Two of our guys got arrested (unlawfully). These campuses had never seen a campus preacher and one of the days was national day of silence for the homosexuals. That along with the VA Tech incident this week made for some unruly crowds for some reason. I had never seen anything like it. Right now though we are in New Jersey/NYC area and preaching it up there.

Thanks for asking.

It is great to follow what you have been up to Jimmy. Keep the faith.

Blessings,

Miles
