AN ARTICLE PUBLISHED!

dfkey_e0.gif picture by gideonrecon

I got an article published on Reformed Perspective Magazine.

It deals with an important issue that is a tenet of Presuppositional Apologetics: Religious Neutrality.

The article can be accessed at http://thirdmill.org/newfiles/jim_li/jim_li.impossibleneutrality.pdf

hey jimmy. Yeah, im just realizing that being a pastors is hard......but I dont want to discourage anyone from being one especially if it's their passion to preach God's word and if that's Gods will for their lives. I dont want to discourage anyone. I'm just beginning to realize in small baby steps by listening to my uncle, who is a pastor, and what my former professor at master's as well as others all seem to say. Being a pastor is one of the toughest things out there and in my opinion its only going to get tougher especially with what Im hearing about postmodernism and how people think that everything is about power plays.....and how people are as susipicious as ever of people claiming they are preaching the truth and I think even more so for someone standing in the front of a group of people and sharing out of the bible. It just seems that one of the negative things of postmodernism is the attitude of going against any kind of authority. Jesus went against the religious establishment of his day but it was for Truths sake , not just to be controversial, i think. But when it comes to me being a pastor, we'll see if thats how God leads me. peace.

bold statement, but i agree.  "religious neutrality" does not exist.  (unique term, first time I heard of it)

I prayed you had a great time with your sister Jim !

Is Nancy back ? I just got back from church

It is great to see you published my brother .

I guess the most important thing is that Jimmy Li and Barry are goint to the Lord's kingdom when we leave this world and that we  want to have a worthy walk in the Lord . Also that we may bring as many with us as we can .

In His wonderful love your brother in Christ,

Barry

RYC: Yea, I guess playing paint ball is pretty brave. lol. So you guys didn't use the regular paintball amos (sp?)? yea the only thing that's delaying me from playing is feeling the pain. i'm not good with pain but i think in order for me to toughen up i need to feel some pain. LOL. Oh and yea i'm planning on shooting my hubby. hahahaha. i dont doubt he'll shoot me first though.

how have you been?

From what I hear I like Ron Paul a lot but I have not heard him, I thought I'd write about Guliani because I saw him on Charlie Rose, and I thought he looked really personable and good, with lots of charisma. I was dissapointed on the social issues though. I hope this Ron Paul guy has some serious people skills and charisma, he's going to need it. I don't really like romney or mcCain
