The Confessions Of A Self Proclaimed Granny Hog

You've heard of being tagged? Well, I've been..........TEASED!

A new xanga friend recently teased me that perhaps I wasn't acting like a true grandma....it had been a while since I had posted any recent pictures of my sweet baby girl. Well, she was right...it HAD been a while!

*big sigh* When it comes to digital cameras, I am desperately trying to learn all this new stuff....and how it all works together with the computer, online ordering of prints, making CD's of pictures, memory cards, etc. Oh the stories I could tell about the escapades of a granny on a (get pictures of the new grandbaby) mission!

My resident camera/computer guy flew the coop a few months ago, spreading his wings to fly to a new job out of town, so hubby and I are on our own, when it comes to these sort of things.

Maybe knowing less is best...I'm afraid I would become a "granny hog" and just show pics of my little one...I would do it every post if I could! It's much better to get folks to ASK for pictures, isn't it? At least, that's what I tell myself!!

So here are a few pictures of our precious little one. She was just here this weekend....and of course, I never did get my full time allotment of holding her...although, no female in this family ever does!

Also, if you have a moment, click the link of my resident camera/computer guy. He has a web cam video of our little Faith....his niece...taken this weekend. Hopefully, next time she comes to visit, I can make a web cam video to post on here! IF I can figure out how to do it!! Ya'll pray for me!

I just love it when she smiles and coos and tries to talk!

I think I did very well in trying not to be a granny hog. (Although I thought I heard an "oink" at one point, but I chose to ignore it.) It's hard not to be one...especially when I'm am so proud of my whole family and have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams!!

thank you so much granny even in this little box we call a computer its so nice to have a thank you for what wecertified nursing asst do thank you so much granny also that picture of a granny on a motor cycle has me wondering do you ride motor cycles hehe love you lotts granny love shelly.

Being a "hog" is something we Razorbacks just take for granted...feel free to borrow some of my granny hogness if you need some...I feel for you...it is sooooo hard to learn how to do all these gizmos but sooooo worth it....I've got about a year before my last "resident" computer nerd leaves me and then....I'm in granny hog trouble :)
btw--Faith is scrumptuous!

Faith is a little doll and I loved the video!! I drove through Wichita this weekend - I spent a few days at Ft. Riley helping my daughter and son-in-law pack up and move home!! Yea!! BTW - My name is Cris.

Oh my goodness! How can you not be a Granny-hog with a beautiful grand daughter like that! Love that picture of you two! Looks like she already has everyone (poor Uncle Logan) wrapped around her tiny finger...funny how fast that happens! I believe that maybe we could start a new blogring of Granny-hogs. There would be two of us at least for sure!

Awww, she is precious! You and I are both blessed with "Faith". = )

I definitely understand the "granny hog" thoughts. My newest granddaughter can't even make it in the church door from the parking lot before someone has snagged her already. Both her NaNa's and Paw Paw's, a great grandma, and an uncle and aunt all attend the same church. I don't even try to grab her when we're at church. I just wait for when they come over here or if I get to missing the grandbabies too bad I just jump in my car and go see them.

Don't you just love it!

What a beautiful baby! She is just adorable. We don't have any little ones anymore....wish we did. They are really blessings. You are probably right about seeing me before, I had a site back in May for about five days. I got discussted because I didn't know how to do any of the things on my site...thought I was in over my head(scaredinside66) But other than that, I wasn't signed in, I did browse the sites. Hope you don't mind. I still don't know how to do all of those things, but now I don't care what my site looks like. I am however a little leary of how much info to put out there. I may be legally blind, but I can see enough to tell a big difference between the picture of you holding Faith and your profile picture.

I think you should put as many pictures of your precious grandbaby on here as you'd like -- after all it's your site.

Awww. I didn't think you were being a granny hog at all. Lord help you all when I become a grandmother!!!!

Just finished up work for another week so now I am popping around the xanga block to (((hug))) my friends. Tomorrow we leave for a week with the inlaws in West Texas. Hugs, Susan
