I talked to my exSIL about Ethan's suspension. She said she doesn't believe that it's something that will hurt his future in any way. That's good. But still. She added that the reason it was taken so seriously is because spitting is considered "the exchanging of bodily fluids."

I guess children should be suspended for coughing and sneezing on one another, too.
Yeah, if it had been my son, I'd have raised Holy Hell. I've done that a time or two.
(Poor, poor, little Italian children! Being taught to kiss one another when they're 2 and 3... Gee. Huh, Rita?)
I was never so glad when my son graduated so I don't have to deal with the Education System any more.

My first day at work went very well. Of course, it couldn't go any other way since the other 2 people in my department were really too busy to train me. (This is not a complaint.) I did file a few things and watch a loan being processed (which will be the bulk of my job for some time...a serious kind of data entry), and I spent the first few hours waiting for our computer tech to upgrade my security level so I could have the access I need. Then I played around with the settings on my computer. I started with the Windows Storm theme and worked it into something I really like.
And I got paid to do that! lol
I'm off today because I'll work this Saturday.

I have an appt. with an OB-GYN today. The last 2 times I had a period, on Day 2, I nearly passed out. I felt like all the blood just drained out me. (As much as I was bleeding, it didn't seem like an impossibility.) The interesting thing is that my blood pressure was actually higher during those...episodes. I know I have cysts on my ovaries, but my doc wants me checked for fibroid tumors and whatnot. I'm to the point where if someone offers to take the whole works out, I'm there. I have to be able to work. I missed 6 days recently, while my blood pressure went up and down. This time I was given a water pill. While treating the symptoms is great, it's really not doing anything for me.
I'll keep you guys informed.
Happy Tuesday!
I love you...GFW

If you can avoid a hysterectomy do it. It causes all kind of things later besides hormonal changes. The organs all support one another and when one is gone the others start collapsing. Like you get things like prolapsed bladder. Judi
I feel your pain. My problem is a tilted cervix. Fortunately, if I'd get off my lazy ass and exercise, I could help myself.
Maybe I could hire someone to do it for me.
I love you!
