Quite the busy weekend. Friday night we were surprised when we got a NIGHT OFF! And what was even more beautiful is that my mom had taken Hosanna to the "towns" for the afternoon, so Josh and I got to go on an actual date. Glorious I tell you, simply glorious. We went to eat at a great bar and grill...nothing says romance like texas fries and hamburgers! ha ha. Then we walked for Ice cream...and of course played video games. Sooo nice to have just a little time every now and again, to remember how much I adore my husband, and am so greatful for his company.

Then Saturday we had a Halo 2 tournament here at the shop...mmmm nothing like 50 sweaty boys staring off into a screen with various outbursts. Please note...

You may see a lawn gnome in the photo...don't be surprised...it's just my husband. He came out in 4th I think...and I barely played at all...please remind me next time that the truth of the matter is I just don't know how to bracket.

On Sunday, we had a baptism at the pool in town. Hosanna's first time swimming since last summer...This is the best photo I got of her...

she was in the water as much as possible...and this morning she woke up ready to swim some more...she brought me her floaty thing and everything...ahhh a girl after her mommy's heart.

And today we had the day time off, so the family went on a walk down the river, and we had a picnic...lovely. just lovely.

and concerning the shooting's today. I am greatful the Lord has kept my family safe thus far in this life. I am so thankful for his protection. It could happen at any point in any "safe" society. heavy. My hearts are with the families who have to go through this hell.

Cory is always in awe over Josh's beard. It's a beautiful thing really.
& I have a water baby too. She'd stay in the water all day if we'd let her.

hey wow, looks like most of the snow is gone.

i want to play Halo. No one plays here. Matt wants to get an xbox so we can get DDR. haha isn't that funny?

you and I have so much in common-I read you in my emails so sorry I don't get over here much-I frequent the myspacers now! I know I know sell out right?? All my friends abandoned xanga and since I moved out of state I had no choice but to transfer there so I could KIT better-I will come see ya more though-I subscribed to you over a year ago!! Your lil gal is so big!!
Oh BTW congrats on the bebe un bele (no I don't know spanish-I pretend)

soooo fun! I hope to take Story to "town" to swim this summer! I was even thinking of checking if there are baby swim classes.

ryc: this'll be our first year to cornerstone. we've planned on it every year for about 5 years & it's always fallen through. i'm determined to make it this year though. we should go from cornerstone to michigan. :]
