What a weekend! The Lord is GOOD. Tuesday we did our first bible study for the church plant(s), and then yesterday was the second. What's cool about the second one...it is where I have felt God tug my heart to since I was 16. If I think it all the way through. The Lord first mentioned something about a coffee shop and Marquette to me, at the vision retreat when I was at Teen Mania. Josh and I have prayed for marquette since we've been together. Sunday that bible study began. To see The Lord fulfilling his promises is wonderful. I am so greatful that He would allow me to be a part of it.
We're going through Joshua in the study. We began going through Joshua a few years ago. Each week at bible study we went through, our church was dealing with the same thing...then we got to chapter 7-8...sin in the camp. That's when things blew up with my mom. Now we're back in Joshua, in Marquette. I pray that we have learned from the mistakes of the past, and we go on. *Lord give us the ability to conquer the land*
Today...was even cooler. We just purchased this building. From a series of people whom I have no idea who...the money was provided to purchase the building. Let me put this in perspective for you...ALL of the families in our church...yeah we're all children of poverty, just trusting Jesus, and trying to serve him. Getting the money donated to us to purchase the building, is not our own doing...this is only product of Jesus himself.
