I've mainly got pictures from this weekend for you. We're starting a summer concert series of sorts at the shop. Making for very very busy weekends...I LOVE it. There's been lots of kids in the shop on the weekends from it, which is really cool to just see them coming in. And of course during the week it's pretty laid back...as usual. Its nice.
Monday I spent cleaning like a mad woman, our house. Not the coffee shop, our home! it was glorious. I shampooed the carpets and everything...it's wonderful. Our house needed it so bad...we're never home, and so our home gets cluttery, a dumping ground for our coffee shop life...bleh. But now it is clean. and I'm happy about that.
On a much sadder note
Then this past sunday, our landlords daughter died in a horrible car
crash. It's crazy. 3 families from our church rent from them. I can't
help but pray asking God what our purpose is...are we renting from
them, for such a time as this? I hope so. my heart is for the family
so much. Whats crazy is that this is the third, young death in the last
two weeks...a 12 year old died while riding her ATV, a 15 year old
committed suicide. Things like this don't happen in a small town like
this. I am praying for the holy spirit to come down on this place and
comfort the people, so many questions, so much hurt.

I am so sorry to hear about that poor girl. I really do understand. M brother died 3 years ago in a car accident. I'll be praying for her family! And the famileis of those other children.

how old was the daughter who died? I pray the Lord will use you guys in the life of that family to lead them to His comfort.
It is very exciting that you're having bands play and stuff. I guess it's still crazy to me that it really is happening.
That's so sad about the deaths, so tragic. I hope and pray that God will indeed use you for such a time as this to see His Kingdom come in your town.
