  • picture heavy, heavy.

I feel like all I do is post pictures. Think of it, perhaps as my life in picture book form. Isn't that what our society does now anyway?

We took our new friends up to Lake in the Clouds to taste what I love about living up here

Hosanna was so fond of the trip. She made close friends with hippy dan

and she climbed and climbed and climbed, and climbed....ok you get the idea.

Our plan had been to take the road the cuts through the entire 20 mile park, but of course it was closed for summer construction.
Thus, we decided to hang out on the beach and have our lunch instead.

Because I'm my daughters mother, I'll share this with you.
She stripped completely down to nothing, and rolled around in the sand...for about an hour.

These are the photo's you share when she's 13. I'm keeping this one.

We then ventured to another town to meet up with some friends. Who provided a GREAT vegetarian meal.
My midwife is going to be so proud of me next week when I see her, I've eatten vegetarian all week long. I have to say, I love it. Really, vegetarians know how to do it, they know how to cook. mmm. ok, my mouth is watering...ahh but tonight we're having Thai Curry with tofu and veggie "meat" (something having to do with Wheat Gluten...I have no clue) Delicious.

We checked out a cool waterfall in the town. Which with out hosanna I would have had a blast, with Hosanna, all I did was freak out about how she was going to fall in. Probably because the first lookout, was right in front of the water fall, and there was about a 40 foot drop directly down, with no rails, or anything safe. Then everyone wanted to hike down this steep ridge to the bottom of the falls...yeah.
    IMG_2610IMG_2619
that didn't happen for Hosanna and I. I would have peed. Right then and there, I would have just peed.
Instead we hiked to above the falls, much safer. And Hosanna was free to climb again.

No Hosanna didn't lose a limb...Thank God. hee hee.

The end to a perfect evening near Lake Superior, is of course, a bonfire on the lake.

Which wouldn't be in any way complete with out bag pipes, a mandolin, and various drums.

if you so desire...there's more photo's here.
