SOMETHING NEW

I've started something several weeks ago that I want to be continued throughout the rest of my life. Swimming. I've been going every morning and lap swimming...or at least trying. Today the liefguards coached me and helped me get my breathing rythm down, this is extremely difficult for me. I did the 100 (so that is what the lifeguards called it), which is two lanes or four laps. This means I did them without stopping. I did several 100's but I had to rest after each one. The point is, I LOVE IT. I feel wonderful afterwards and it is a great way to start the day.
Peace and Blessings to all.

Life is good :)

One of the most amazing times in my life was experienced this past week. I was in Forth Worth w/my best friend Ryan and his fiance Alisha (now wife). I was the best man in his wedding. During the week I was able to see friends that I have not talked to for years and it was wonderful. I am extremely Texas sick right now and despise the fact that I have to live in missery (Missouri). I know God wants me here and that is really the only thing that keeps me here. Don't take me wrong I love the people and the school (AGTS) but you have to compare apples for apples, Texas is AWESOME!!! During the wedding I had a hard time gettig the rings out of my coat, everybody got a laugh out of it. The wedding was the most beautiful and well planed smooth occasion I have ever experienced. There was so much peace and fun that it seemed like a family reunion. It was pretty hard not to cry as my Best Friend got married. I didn't feel like I was loosing him but more like this was a new chapter in our friendship. The people that I would lay my life down far can be counted on half of one hand, and he is one of those people. When you have a friendship so deep that all you care to do is serve the other person it hits at an emotional level that does not compare to much more than the relationship we hold wih Christ. God knew I needed to have the week with Ryan before he got married, it was the transition I needed for our friendship. God is amazing, his plan has the greatest way of causing some amazement.
LOVE ALL, FORGIVE MUCH, WORDS OF PEACE,
Eternity!!!

It has been a while since I have posted and a friend said I should get on top of things. It is now 2:14 in the morning and I just finished a little MMORPGing. I think I should go to bed...yes that is what I will do. It is awesomelly cold outside. Good night.

People Are Sandpaper
- I never asked anyone to challange me, I am happy where I am at. And thats fine, but if I want to know people then I have to deal with their problems and the masks they wear. People are the sandpaper that rubs the rough edges off of our life. It would be easier to avoid people but that would be a boring life. And certainly not the one God has called me to.
- If there is anything I am learning right now, it's that God is more interested in the process of life then the final destination (e.g., Moses leading the people for way to long). God wants to be apart of every day all day.
- I was reading in the book...Prov. 27:1-6, "Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth. Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; A stranger, and not your own lips. A stone is heavy and the sand weighty, But the provocation of a fool is heavier than both of them. Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood, But who can stand before jealousy? Better is open rebuke than love that is concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy."
- I enjoy people who get to the truth and stop wearing their pitiful masks.
- Wedding rings are expensive...thats all I have to say about that.
