You know, the great thing about a laptop is that you can sit in the grass and watch you daughter play (and react to the sun) while you type. My borrowed internet has taken a vacation, so I'm out and about, searching for child-friendly sources of free internet. My location today is near an old train caboose in my town that now serves as a tourist information site--and offers free internet. I might be here all week while Chaos and Mayhem are in VBS!
It's been a great two weeks. We've been white water rafting (a scary first experience for me, but a blast), camping, visiting, sunburned, to a parade, and more. We've been able to see friends and family that we don't normally, I've been walking with my sister and my sister in law, and I've been sleeping in an actual bed. I've slept in an RV, in a borrowed bed, on the ground, on a mat on the ground, and in my bed. Chaos turned six, Mayhem plotted her wedding (see below), and Frenzy learned to run. We've done the rodeo (radio, to Mayhem), the parade, and house hunted like crazy.
Did I mention that I'm moving...that I have moved...that I'm halfway here and halfway there and really not anywhere? I don't know my address, and I don't really care. I'll see you when I land...or before, depending on how the internet pirating holds out.
Oh, and eventually I have thoughts to share: on water and taking the course of least resistance, on the path less traveled, and on life in general. Stay tuned...

I was just thinking to myself that I wondered what had happened to gwennieg. Interesting stuff, to be sure. Tell us more.
HOpe you get settled soon. Transitions are soooo stressful. I don't know how you have survived this far.
Nice, I wish I had the bravery for something like that. I want to move back to TX and the idea of the change horrifies me.

It sounds like one long camping trip where most of the time everything goes great! You have a very young spirit and I am sure you are making plenty of good memories for your children.
