After Columbia University and the delicious sandwiches, we headed for Time Square:

I usually drove through here when I came to New York...this is the first time I've actually walked in Time Square.

And...this is probably the first time I've been here during the day...It's quite different. Isn't as scary as I thought it was...

Ryan took me to the Toys R' Us. I think I would have gone crazy if I came as a kid...
They have DINOSAURS!!! DINOSAURS!!!

This is one day after I saw the movie. Spider 3 was lame...
But I still like Spiderman out of all heroes. He tries hard.

Somebody price check this idiot please!!!
Turns out there is a special on idiots that day...
and he'll even throw in a dance from Happy Feet. ..

Can you say twins separated at birth?

Out for a final look at Time Square...

Guess what, it's LG!!!
My friend Kent said...this expression totally conveys my personality...

Can I help out, sir?
I don't know who the heck this is. Wish Tommy was there to explain. I think he's Jewish though.

Attempt at doing something artistic as we walked west ward...

One last picture of New York on the Manhattan Island...
All and all, I really enjoyed this trip. Much of the misunderstandings and dramas were cleared off that night. I also went to Hiros bar, which was really cool. It looked like the Kill Bill bar...
I am grateful for all the people I met that trip, it defnitely has been a learning experience!
My friends went to New York one week after I did, and they embarrassed my friend Tommy right in front of a club..., but they had a good time anyway.
Howard and I have been speaking about how much we miss New York. Perhaps I'll make another trip this summer while my host, Claud, is still willing to take me in!
(Next post will be my visit to NASA in Pasadena)

I think the statue of the guy with a sewing machine is just representation of the culture of the area, which is the Garment district.
ryc: Nope, didn't see you at the Festival or at least don't remember. It was warmer than usual and all I was focused on was sipping my drink and wondering what movie to watch afterwards...Spiderman 3 it was and yes it sucked lol
In Dundee, Scotland. :)
Have fun in NY!
