| 1st Week of SchoolTonight - I was reflecting back on my first full week of college. What a shock my stress levels have gone through! ha! My first few days of class were great - I was excited with a few tinges of nervousness. I woke up early last Thursday morning to insure I made it to my class on time and found the right room. I didn't realize how tense I was until after the teacher took roll and I heard my name and knew I had made it to the right class, the right time, right teacher - I felt tension lift.
This week on the other hand - have been stressful. I'm learning the hard way how to balance school, homework, work, spending time with my hubby and finding that time to spend with God. I reached the point of being completely overwhelmed yesterday. This is so new for me - this whole experience is amazing. I know that I'll make it through fine - I feel that I need a week to organize all the information that has been poured into my head in such a short amount of time. In 1 week I have read 220 pages, drawn 4 drawings (my first 4 ever), written 3 papers, taken 20 pages of notes, was late to 1 class, and shock of all shocks - found a parking spot every day.
My dear husband - has handled me very well this week - he has let me work out my stress and get used to this whole thing. He has been so understanding with me coming home and spilling my day for 3 hours. He has surprised me with a clean house, 6 loads of laundry, and had dinner ready for me last night. Caleb is amazing. I don't know how I got this blessed. Baby I love you!!
Tomorrow ends my first full week of college. It's been a good, stressful and tiring week - but still a good week. |

| first day of schoolYes. My first day in a classroom was great. My teachers for drawing and art history are awesome. I love college already. I love the syllabus - ha ha - it speaks my language - dates and lists. Caleb was right, college is set up for people with my personality. So I'm ready to embrace school for the next four years and learn as much as I can. |
