Just want to let you know that the cherries and raspberries are getting ripe. Want to come and get some? The cherries are not as plentiful as last year, but the raspberries are.
I would love to hear from Nathan again sometime.

I am finally getting to scrap-booking again, haven't done the trip to Newfoundland i took two years ago. How's that for procrastinating! and then there is the trip to Germany and Scotland from last September. Anybody out there want to help?
At the Grands Pass conference (Oregon, for those who don/'t know) I bought two new biographies, one is P.P.Bliss and the other J.O.Fraser, a missionary to China. That will be good reading.

My favorite CD now is the one Bill Gothart  recommended in the Anger Resolution seminar: Sounds like Home. I can see why he likes it so much. I do too.

I'm Basking in the Sun!

I'm finally here in sunny California Making my grandkids miserable .
And the miracle is they still love me!
Of course I make it up to them by taking them to the park and out for Ice cream.

Hello Nathan!,
That sure was a nice surprise when you called on Monday evening and talked to me too!
I appreciated that very much.

Hi Roberta,
as I told you I am here now and hope to be able to see you.
Or at least to talk to you on the phone.
I am glad that we exchanged emails recently and I heard what you were doing.
keep loving the Lord! and growing in your faith.
Once you leave California.  I hope we can still keep in touch.

I'm working on getting t a tan so everyone will be jealous of me when I get home!
(I know most of my readers will be my grandkids so they'll get a laugh!!)

God Bless you ALL!

Oma,

(Oma made me work HARD to write this and NO pay!!!!!! GRRRR....-poor me/Mary- )

I'm back

Would you believe the whole big trip is over and I am safe and sound back in my little house! The Lord has been good to me, keeping me safe and giving me the joy of meeting some known and some, till now, unknown folks.
Yes, I had a good time and some fun too, also learned a lot, even at my age.
Did you know I turned 80 while I was gone? No, in Germany folks don't get old quicker! But maybe my grandkids helped with that! Just kidding.
Actually they help to keep me young. Thanks, you all!

If you are interested, I'll tell you more details later. Let me know. Just now I am still catching up on getting back to 'normal', whatever that is.

Peter boy, how about letting us hear from you!

Well, folks, the big day is getting closer and I am getting to the state of wondering what I need to do/ pack and what I might forget. If you don't know or have forgotten, the big day is my departure to Germany.
Anybody want to join me? It would be fun having company, but travelling has been my lot. I'll see if  I can find some small items to bring home for my precious grandkids, don't have much room in my suit case for big stuff.
So, be good while I am gone. when I see you at Christmas time, the Lord willing, I'll have pictures and hopefully a little more to share.
