Trusting God is so hard sometimes, yet so simple. Who knew that God really does not want us to worry? That God will truly take care of it all. Who knew? Just trust and walk.
Paul was talking in orientation tonight about the feeding of the five thousand. I've heard this before (probably from him), but I love what he says about it. Paul focuses attention on the little boy who gave his loaves and fish. The little boy gave what he had, what little he had, he gave. and what did God do? He multiplied it. All we have to do is just give God what we have, offer it up, and He uses it in outstanding ways. I just picture this little 8-year-old tugging on a disciple's robe and giving his lunch away. I doubt the boy thought Jesus would multiply it to be enough, but he trusted and walked. Trust and walk.
