  • My sister, Natalie, arrived here in Nicaragua last Wednesday night.  It was so fun to be on this side of the gate at the airport to welcome someone.

The days are getting closer and closer for us to go home.....a little more than a week left.   I have mixed emotions...... so looking forward to seeing family and friends.  I've never been away from home for this long.  But I hate to say goodbye.  hate it.  I usually end up saying, 'see you later'.  Everyone asks when I'll be coming back..."whenever God works it out...I'll be back".  :)

The other day I was thinking how God works and does things so much better than I could ever imagine. Honestly.... last year I  had decided that I wasn't going come to Nicaragua.  There was some personal things that'd happened in my life the year before and I was still needing God to heal me and restore me.  So I had told Natalie, "no, I don't plan on going this year".   Well, God had other plans....it ended up that I came down here TWICE!  :)  And God has done sooo much in me.  Here I am sitting here in Nicaragua...I'm so amazed at God. It brings tears.....

"Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
"For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness." ~ Psalm 107:8-9

    Good night - sleep well!

Oh, BTW ~ read the last verse of that chapter.  I was meditating on it the other morning after I read the chapter!  WOW ~ verse 43 Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things, And consider the lovingkindnesses of the LORD.

The children of Israel would cry out to the Lord in their troubles, He would deliver them; the cycle would repeat.  David said over and over "Give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkingness".  He would continue to deliver them even when they got themselves into trouble or distress.

We are wise and give heed to what is said  ~ we consider the lovingkingnesses of the LORD!

Hey Brittany,  yes, we are moving about 5 minutes down the road from the other Criddles.  It is actually like the next street after Jelly Stone Park down Horseshoe Estates.  A SWEET house with River access!!  Yippey!!!  Blessings, can't wait to see more of your pictures!  So glad to hear you had an awesome time!
