I'm finally getting the taste of my own medicine -- it sure is bitter and vile. The mutinous silence is chilling me to the bones.
I never knew that those mere sentences could send excruciating sensations raging through my body. Neither did I know the power of words.. coming from you.. would have such an impact on my conscience. Yes, my guilt-stricken conscience. I have one, I do. After all, I'm only human.We're only human.
Once again, I'm sorry. I truly am, even though no amount of apologies can fill the deep abyss of a bro/ken heart.

| Hocus pocus FOCUS!
Now that the short National Day respite is over, the next few days would be intense study boot camp.
Yesterday's study date with Connie was productive. :)
There I was, in the library, clad in my oversized pullover, snacks (dark chocolate wafers so reminiscent of the days in Italy.... *mind shifts to another tangent of thought) -snap- surrounding me like a wall circled around a fortress and a cuppa piping hot green tea (imaginary) with earphones plugged in and accompanied by tunes on my 'Make me Study' playlist. Yes, I've decided against power-hogging at Starbux ha ha. Why not make full use of the school facilities since we've paid a price? No pun intended. We also took short breaks to prevent diminishing marginal returns and went food and stationery shopping during those intervals. :D
I can't study well at home, distractions are aplenty and the fact that next-door's freaking DRILLING is not helping! It's so terrible I swear, the monotonous drone is still resonating in my eardrums... However, this is a negative spillover effect and not confined within my means..
I've just applied 2 Economic theories in my post. Way to go, V!
Saturday is just 3 days away, Beeehweee :) Cannot.freaking.wait!

| OverduedMorning horror + OBSE examination + Dad's birthday
I ****ing overslept.
Was I dreaming?? NO. I slapped, pinched and kicked myself to ascertain (no really I didn't haha)
Woke up 15 minutes before the start of my paper because my phone decided to die and the alarm clock didn't ring. I handled the situation with composure though.. I think. As cool as a cucumber ^^ Did my morning ablutions in 10 minutes split, missed my daily breakfast(!!), called a cab and zipped out of the house! Indeed, the rest of the day was off-kilter because I FREAKING MISSED MY BREAKFAST. Wdv... Blew more than 10 bux on cab fare (peak hour + booking surcharge), ridiculous with an R, considering the distance from my house to school. The examination paper's an expensive one indeed.
Met up with Beehwee for the casting then lunch at IKEA where I secretly ate....___meatballs (hint: BEE&Flower)! Yummehzz. Did some IKEA-shopping thereafter then went to present-hunt. Oh oh, I'm looking forward to our trip to HK/BKK at the end of the year and our grand plans for the big 18th (quite far-fetched)!!
The rest of the afternoon was spent slaving in the kitchen for this:

08/08/08 night with B and the Zzz-s
It was a futile trip to the new frozen yogurt place I've been wanting to try because of "staff problems". Apparently, B and ZJ swears by it. Quote them, "Much better than frolick". Honestly speaking, I eat frolick only for its concept of badges. 
Made do with Venezia where my throat warned me of an impending sore throat :( SIGH. Second helping of ice-cream related food for the day, couldn't resist!! And it didn't help that I selected two very cloying flavours - strawberry chzecake and macadamia because B said I was too healthy ahem* by choosing green tea. WhYogurt at Gr8 World is still the bez! Thanks for the stickers Beatrice, my pencil case is very much more embellished now. :D Luv you bezztie

Sumptuous Japanese dinner at Waraku, pre,post and during-dinner chats, followed by surprise homemade Rocky Road brownie "cake" with glittery sparklers, caught ** dating, endless phototaking and "celebrity-tailing" (LAWL) Thanks for allowing Elena and I to shave off some calories, birthday girl!

| Pushing daisiesYesterday saw me returning to the "Hell-hole" (hawhaw) with GG to collect our testimonials and certs. :) Thereafter, we headed to Holland V for FROLICK (had blueberry this time round, topped with raspberries as usual) and Serena had her lunch/dinner/breakfast? Love you girls!
Tomorrow's OB(e)SE examination. After which I would be meeting up with Beehwee for the Clean&Clear castings. Yes, we made it in, along with 4 other pairs of finalists! Initially, I thought we would be a gone-case as we only had a pathetic amount of 575 votes, compared to some of the others who hit a 5-digit (40,000 mind you!). However, it was 50% votes and 50% judges' say so yeah... Anyway, thanks to those who contributed their votes!! :)
Daddy's finally returning home tomorrow, coincedentally on his birthday! No surprise but I'll be baking him a cake! I love birthdays, perfect excuse to bake! I've just returned with a bagful of mascapone cheese, chocolate shavings, coffee liquer, etc. I think it should be rather telling what I'm going to make, no? ;)
Tomorrow's birthday dinner would be at Waraku. I wisened up and booked the "special room" this time. Aww, it's a pity Connie cannot join us tomorrow. :(
