~Happy Turkey Day~

I hate it when you walk down the street and people say hi to you in Korean, Japanese or Chinese.  DAMN IT!  This is America...if you would like to speak to me, a simple "Hello" will do the trick.

What do I do in return...i look at them like they're CRAZY because I don't understand what they're saying.

I have a new found respect for men and their efforts of playing into the highly publicized Hallmark holiday.  I’m not really into the whole Valentine’s Day thing.  I don’t truly appreciate flowers as most girls do, my life is better off without a box of Godiva chocolates, and I can’t imagine spending $100 or more a person for a pre-fixed menu at an upscale restaurant (especially since I’m not cultured in fine dining).  But anyway, I do find enjoyment from hearing all different hoops and obstacles guys went through to make Valentine’s Day special.

In the end…I had a great Valentine’s Day. 

My one complaint about the hallmark holiday…why is it so hard to find a decent Valentine’s Day card that doesn’t have big hearts and “Love” written all over it or a big dinosaur or Spongebob card wishing that special someone a Happy Valentine’s Day card.  Next year I may have to make my own…

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day
