  • Day 28

New Jersey had no rain for a few days, which was very suitable for us to plug fruits in farms. Aunt drove me to the public fruit farm in NewJersey. There planted peaches, apples and sweet corns. Since apples were not yet came to season, we went to plug 3 bags of peaches and got 1 bag of sweet corns. They were all free unless you wanted to take them away. It's also free to eat in the farm! The fresh tastes and juicyfruit juice impressed me so much. Iremembered the memory when the 9-year-old me was plugging the peachesfrom the trees and ate them.

We went to bowling at the afternoon and at the evening. I got rather poor marks such my average marks were only 87 and 96! Terribly poor marks here!
  • Day 27

Aunt decided to bring me to visit a few more places in the New York. First of all, we arrived at the Grand Central station by subway, where there included  the train station and shop areas. Walked out of the station, she took me to visit the United Nation area in the 45th Street, 1 Avenue. History students, I finally came and met the Buildings of the United Nations~!!!

We then went to the American Museum of Natural History. Things about science, geography, history, astronomy, etc. were all shown in a wide variety of areas in the Museum. I bet if students were willing to stay inside the Museum to read and understand every descriptions about the things in the exhibition, they might easily pass the A-level exams!

Aunt took me to the Madison Square Garden through subway and we went to visit the Pennsylvania Station, where was also a train station in the New York City. Then we headed to the 42th street through the subway and got back to New Jersey by bus.

  • Day 26

In the morning, aunt told me that she actually made a mistake in reading the information on the tickets. The Lion King was on show at 2:00p.m but not 3:00! We quickly went out and took the bus. Luckily, we met no traffic jams and got straight to the 42th street. Aunt brought me to the Rockefeller Center - A major New York City building complex. We had our lunch in the central area, where was surrounded by tall buildings. Within half an hour we finished our meal and quickly walked to the Theater.

The Lion King was fabulous. It's so hard for us to imagine that they played the film in such a creative way. Acting really alike the animals, with some of their funny jokes added in the conversations, the granted voices had destroyed the wall of our stubborn brains and had fired up our wooden hearts towards musicals. Nearly everyone stood up and clapped their hands for them!

Aunt and I went through the Soho area in the city and straight way to the Chinatown. As this was my uncle's birthday, we went to had a Vietnam dinner in the Chinatown. Our family plus Victor had an enjoyable meal. We left Chinatown then went home with filled up tummies.

  • Day 25

It was the first time for me to take the bus from New Jersey to the New York City. Through the Lincoln Tunnel, we arrived at the 42th street in the city area. Walking along the next few streets, I took a good look at all the theaters in the Broadway area. Photos were, of course, taken.

Aunt had to see the doctor for a body check in the afternoon. So we went to the Chinatown early and got to the checking center in Chinatown of the New York City. I got a hair cut in the Chinatown by the hair designer of my cousin and aunt ^^. I know that you guys might say that, "Isn't you hair short enough?", but there was no way for me to stand asight of my horrible hair cut before I came to US.

We had lunch with Victor- one of the so-called son of aunt. Then we took the subway to the shopping malls in the downtown area. Out of my expectations, there were some cheap (in price) shirts and sweaters. I finally used up the rest of the money in my US$50 gift card from my aunt by buying those.

Then we walked through the streets, eventually arrived at the Broadway theater. The Phantom of the Opera was MARVELOUS. Not only the special effects, costumes, songs, but also the actors. They acted perfectly, especially for the Phantom! My aunt and I nearly drew ourselves crazy on them.

  • Day 24

It was too tired  for my aunt and I to move merely to anywhere from home. So we stayed at home and went to the bowling center for 2 times in order to relax ourselves from the tiredness. I scored 156 as my highest mark!!!!! Very good news for me!
