Pornthip sent me a request for that 'famous' bag - "I'm not a plastic bag". I wasn't planning to buy that because it might be quite expensive for me to buy, especially those things which are in limit. But after I've discussed with my family, my cousin, my aunts in Hong Kong wanted one also. So finally we decided to got some for them.
I was being awaken at 5:50 a.m. and we got there at 6:50 a.m.. The queue there was a bit shorter than I've expected. We found that the store only selling 1000 bags at total. It's a luck that the queue in front of us was only about 170 people...
But what comes next was the never-ended thunderstorms. We tried to hold the umbrellas tight. We started to chat with the people around us. What we found was that they are mostly coming for the bags is because their sons, daughters, grand-daughters wanted them. And what's more, the reason they wanted them is just because they area in limit! How crazy they are...
The organization of the store for selling this bag was good. At 7:30 a.m., the shop keeper came out and gave us each maximum 3 tickets for 3 bags (we were limited to buy 3 bags at most) in the rain. This is to prevent the people continue to jump into the queue in the front. We then stayed in the thunderstorm for more than half an hour (we spent those time to chat with others), then we slowly got into the store and got what we want.
We had a cup of coffee with our new friends - Sonia ( the same name as my sis) , Shirley and Tracy. We chatted for a while, realizing that they came from all round, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Staten Island and even from Florida! Hah... How come the people are so crazy about it? What are they crazing for? Horrible, nothing related to environmental friendly! What's the funniest thing is that, they are buying those environmental bags with plastic bags outside!!!
I guess I'll never buy those kinds of bags again, even in favor of the friends' requests!
