| Why do people try to resurrect things that should just stay buried? | | |
| Wow. Lindsay is so right about Murphy's Law, everything that could have gone wrong yesterday, did. First, three hours of band practice (in the rain, might I add), then -sigh- I was completely stupid and lost Becca's car keys (actually, I left them somewhere and they were most likely stolen, but w/e). So, yeah. I was already feeling really bad and the three hours or so that we spent at Andover wasn't helping. Anyway, the band got a one, and I'm happy....but it's marching band, and no matter how hard I try I can't take half as much pride in it as I can concert band. Then I came home and had a TON of home work that kept me up until 1:30. ...you know what's funny, though? singing in the car w/ my band girls made (almost) all of it better Shania Twain, anyone? | | |
| Today I went out to the driving range at WSU spent about an hour hitting balls. And becasue of the intense wind, no one else was out there, so I was completly alone. It felt amazing. The complete solitude mixed with taking out any frustrations on the ball really did a lot for me. Youth Symphony was great, I got 3/4 chair (depending on the song) and I'm happy with that. Sure, it isn't perfect, but I'm only human, right? Tonight I get to hang out with Lindsay and I'm very excited! <33 | | |
| Last night was so much fun! I didn't really want to go to the game, because I thought we would lose, but noooooo. we have to win the one time I don't go! Before the game I hung out with the lovely Gabbers and we had tons of fun goofing around and primping forever. And the toga dance was pretty cool, except that it rained so we moved to the west gym where it fue muy caliente. But other than that, it was awesome seeing Vanessa, Gabbi, Lindsay, etc all at the same time. Plus, some of Gabbi's craziness rubbed off on me, which was interesting ;) Well, I'm off to get a new women's driver! I'm soooo excited, because at my match last thursday I golfed a 63 (VERY good for me) and got bumped up to varsity! Toodles! | | |
| This week has been crrrazy! Yesterday was the orientation day for YS...which means no more sleeping in on saturdays :(:( oh well, I'll get over it. Band sucks right now because we're marching !! But golf is really fun. My first match is on thursday, and I may/may not be varsity...I don't know yet. Ohh, and last night I went to gabbi's and we picked out togas to wear to school on thursday. Mine is fuzzy and pink, es muy bonita! that's about it, except that pre-calc is (still) kicking my butt :(:(:( <33 | | |
