2008/03/26 - Always Enough Time
One thing that helped my experience with our Creator was the realization that I am with Him all day everyday whether or not I honor Him or ignore Him. It does not take an extra special quiet time in order to be with Him, share with Him, learn from Him, and hear His leading. Quiet times are very good and can be very strengthening, but the day in and day out... needs to be lived with Him.He desires more than just a little bit of our time. We have minds that are able to be thinking, pondering or meditating on something even though we are working or doing something completely different from our thoughts. My challenge to everyone would be to master taking every thought captive by thinking upon positive, good and loving things and events.
The world around us is created by our loves and our fears. If we walk by Faith and not by sight, then our fears will diminish as our loves increase beyond imagination. Faith is assurance in the things for which we hope. If someone has assurance that they will begin to have abundant time with the Father and wonderful interaction with Him, then that will come into their lives. We are created in His image. We speak/think things into existence. Jesus said Ask, Believe and Receive. Ask anything, believe that you have already received it and it will be yours… all this to glorify the Father and make your joy complete.
Our Father’s desire is to be loved and to love. He desires you to love Him with Perfect Love and He is always offering Perfect Love to you. Take your thoughts captive to whatever is positive, whatever is Love, and you will find your life and relationships transform before your eyes!
Blessings!!

Beautiful, and thank you so much of the reminder this morning of living in His Blessing and actively seeking it rather than "Woe Is Me" ing. I obviously need to begin expecting so much more than what I have been. Even if it is not in His will, I at least need to live stronger in the expectation of God providing what I NEED, (emphasis on need). I am realizing that there's a part of me that still needs to die to the world to allow the Lord to work His complete will in me. Blessings on you for your love and encouraging words.

I'd like to encourage you to ponder and meditate on the heart of our Father and seek to know what His will is. So far in my searching, I've come to know the Father's will as Him desiring to Love and to be Loved. Whatever you receive from your meditation, apply Jesus' life to it.
Jesus cursed the fig tree even though that fig tree was doing what it was designed by the Creator to do. Jesus only did what He saw His Father doing; Jesus reflected the heart of the Father perfectly; He declared the Father, revealed the Father, brought the Father out where He could be seen; Jesus interpreted the Father and made the Father known. (John 1:18)
Jesus cursed that tree by saying it would never bear fruit again. How is that in the Father's will? I believe it is in our Father's will because His will is to Love and be Loved. Part of Jesus' joy was made complete with the cursing and whithering of that tree!! How odd!! Jesus could and can do nothing apart from our Father.
I feel that Christianity has turned God's will into something that is mysterious when the only mystery was the Way, the Truth and the Life... which was perfectly revealed through Jesus Christ... Perfect Love. Jesus didn't walk around showing us that God's will is mysterious. Jesus walked around showing us that we have authority over this earth and this creation! He showed us that when we walk by Faith and not by sight, we will be able to walk on water... transport our bodies from the street into a room with a locked door, as well as being able to deny ourselves as we seek Perfect Love and seek to express Love to others.
Be encouraged and I'd love to hear about the fruit from your meditation with God! You are a beautiful and strong woman of God; I'm grateful that our paths have crossed and I look forward to learning and being spurred on by the Truth being written on your heart.

The Will of God is not mysterious nor are we to be guessing at it. God's Will is show to us by His Son and His Spirit, and both should be living in you. I agree with iamlovedbygod that the Christian religion has muddled this us, mostly because of men wanting to "lord over each other." I don't think this was some conspiracy, just man's lack of faith that God will keep His sheep and they don't need to worry about that, just love the sheep don't try to force them to your way of thinking. I realize this is a bit much to swallow, but YOU are created in God's image and now with His help have the opportunity to be just like Him, creating, forgiving, loving, nurturing, the whole nine yards.
God calls anyone who has received His word gods, and as such we have all the power and responsibility that He does. Read Psalm 82 and then read John 10:34 - 38 and ponder the implications. I feel compelled to point these two out to you though I do not know you personally. To help clarify this a bit more, read John 1:12 and 13. As His children are we nothing less that who our Father is?
Now I do feel I must interject that we should also have the same attitude as Christ that "being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped." Philippians 2. Basically don't let it go to your head, but also don't deny who you are. Listen to the words written here "You are what you fear and what you love." And remember that in Him is perfect Love which drives out all fear. So go get in your big Daddy's arms and get to feeling that love so that the fear is banished and you can be exactly what He intened for you to be...His child.
@anaggello_agalliao - Bless you for your taking the time to share with me what was placed on your heart. Your words are appreciated and I will use the scriptures you have suggested for me as devotional reading for this weekend and seek His inspiration within them.
the bible is cover to cover the will of God...i start and stay there to figure out His will...if we walk by faith, there is no fear

Interesting view. I know it is not God's desire to lose even one person. From my view, at this point in my walk, I'd say the Bible is cover to cover the walks of those humans when they walked with God or didn't walk with God according to the events and hearts.
It is fine to start and stay in the Bible to figure out His will, but aside from the Spirit of God speaking Truth about His will into a person's mind and life, it is impossible to know His will by being in the Bible.
Learning to listen to that voice of Truth is one of our biggest hurdles; the Bible is a great source for learning what the voice of Truth sounds like, but it's not until a person hears that voice for him or herself that he or she will know His will in his or her life.
I'm learning more about what it is to walk by faith and wow is it different; to be able to Ask, Believe and Receive... no doubt and to have the assurance in my hope (or asking) so strongly that I know it is mine. God is so very awesome in His design.
Amen, He wants relationship with us.

@iamlovedbygod - you make my point...totally biblical to ask, believe and recieve..that is all over the bible...and we do learn our shepherd's voice (also in the bible)..but i don't care what the voice might say, i check the bible to make sure it is correct, there are a lot of voices out there, dear...and about God's desire not to lose one person...that too, is biblical, but we have to believe and receive or it doesn't come to pass...a little thing He gave us called free choice....

I am truly sorry if I offended you or seemed rude in my reply. I wasn't meaning to imply that anything I said wasn't Biblical; I just wouldn't say that
the bible is cover to cover the will of God or that it was God's will/desire for all the things that happened cover to cover to happen.
I was trying to convey that without the voice of Truth, the Bible is nothing. We cannot know Truth, even with the Bible, unless we are receiving from the Spirit. And that it is important to learn what the voice of Truth sounds like as He will guide us (as we allow Him) through situations aside from Biblical remembrance. He will give us words or promptings to do and say things that are not quoting scripture written in the Bible.
It is very encouraging to me that Paul learned by the Spirit one on one for somewhere around 3 years with no other source. And after that time with the Spirit of Christ, he did not run to the Apostles to confirm what he knew and learned (Eph). And we know we have even greater potential than we even see recorded of Jesus' life (John 14:12). That, to me, is exciting!!
@iamlovedbygod - oh dear, i didn't mean to make you feel like i was offended! hahahah...i'm a bit blunt in my writing because typing just isn't the same as talking..hahaha i respectfully disagree with your statement that the Bible is nothing without the voice of truth..."faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God" and in numerous places in the Bible is stated that it is the Divine Word of God...but i do agree with you that the Spirit convinces us of the Truth of God's Word (says that too) and Paul was considered an apostle ...i love that scripture you quoted also...awesome, isn't it!
It's okay, I think it was more the usage of the word "dear". I think it was typically used in a derogatory manner when I was growing up and, so, I think I default to hearing a "tone" with it when I read it. I find it best to ask or apologize if it crosses my mind that I might have offended someone. Glad to know that is not what you had in your heart. :D
I have learned that the Voice of Truth is Jesus and that the Word of God is Jesus. Jesus is the Word and He has always been with God. I have not seen anywhere in scripture where anyone's writings included in the Bible have referred to scripture as being the "Word" or being the "word of God". Please share if you know of a place; I've looked several times before and just haven't found it.
So when I say that the Bible is nothing without the Voice of Truth, I am saying that they are mere words and stories to a person that does not have eyes to see, ears to hear, etc. If someone is not open to Truth (which is Jesus), then they will not see the Truth; they will be looking through a blindfold unable to truly understand the heart of God.
"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." - Agreed! Faith comes by hearing Jesus, who is the Spirit of Christ, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life... Jesus is the Voice of Truth. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word, from what I've seen, is living and breathing and sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Heb 4:12).
Oh wow... and Heb 4:13 "And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account." I'm looking at the "hidden from his sight" part... keeping the context, from what I can tell, the Word of God is being referred to as "his". Aside from that, in verse 12, a physical collection of writings cannot discern anything, only a living being can discern something and only God knows the intentions of the heart.
The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God - The sword of the Spirit is Jesus... it is the Truth that He perfectly expresses from the heart of God.
You've inspired a couple hours of study and meditation and I'm feeling compelled to come back and study and meditate more later. Please let me know what you see and know. I am seeking All Truth and I know that if I continue to seek that with all my heart, that I will receive. hahahha I'm excited again!!
