 Yeshy! It is another list:
Ten years ago:
1. I was 24 years old and I just came out of a serious 7 year relationship. Didn't know anything about life at all.
2. I was finishing my bachelors degree in art at University of Maryland
3. I was living at home with my parents
4. I was overcoming a lot of issues with lonelyness and saddness and being on my own which made me very very empty
5. I was discovering things I liked to do for myself and I began making art seriously

Five years ago:
1. The year was 1999 and I was married to Thomas for 3 years.
2. I was finishing up my Master's Degree in Fine Art at Towson University and showing in Galleries
3. I was living in an apartment in Timonium Maryland and I had 2 kitties
4. I was making art and discovering new ideas and visions about how to construct art as well as discipline
5. My brother Tom married Alllysia and my twin nicesses Gwynneth and Lilith were born.

One year ago:
1. I was teaching Art at Towson University and the Community Colleges (But not getting much money)
2. I own my house and love it in all of its 1940's charm.
3. I have 3 kitties with bring me lots of love
4. I was teaching workshops in Seattle and locally
5. I have become very confident and very happy with myself

So far this year, I:
1. Have a new job working 9-5 at NIDA for the Acting Clinical Directors make a lot more money!
2. Have traveled to Seattle to teach workshops and continue to make art
3. I am friends with two of the most enjoyable people ever- Jason and Lisa
4. I have made differences in the way I do things around the house- keeping things clean!
5. I taught myself to knit!

Today, I:
1. Made my usual cup of coffee and had a nice morning chat with Jason.
2. Wore giant strange olive brown boots, a sassy skirt and my "International Brotherhood of Raygun Builders- Local 100" shirt . I Couldn't walk at all!
3. Worked on taking over my new office duties over a nice hot cup of Apple Cinimmon tea
4. Went out to find the rest of the things I will need for my trip- didn't find them so I went to Denny's for dinner.

Tomorrow, I:
1. Will get up and go up to my studio and make some art
2. Will go and wake up Thomas in that special way...(giggle)
3. Will go out and get the rest of my supplies
4. Will take Paige outside for some kitty time
5. Will pack for texas

In one year, I will: (I will be 35)
1. Have made a new body of art
2. Have traveled to more places
3. Have experienced Long Hair Extensions
4. Be smarter and wiser than the year before
5. Have been published again

In five years, I will: (I will be looking at 40!!! Holy Crap!)
1. Hopefully I will be doing more a lot more art and doing shows in New York and world wide!
2. Hopefully I will have travelled to Iceland again and beyond! (No Kids means more time to travel, right?)
3. Be More Famous and MUCH more Published
4. Be even more in love with the Bunny Husband
5. I will have a nice finished basement and maybe an Outside studio!

In ten years, I will: (Almost 50)
1. I will have become an very established artist
2. I will be able to rely on art making for a living
3. Travel and gives talks about art/ teach more workshops
4. I will have had a retrospective show at a museum
5. Have been published in art magazines and be happily married for 20 years

I guess you can say- I see a lot of art in my future. I also see a lot of Thomas. We are coming up on ten years of being together. It has been a wonderful and easy 10 years. We work very well together. the key word is- work. We take things seriously and consider being married a lucky thing- something not to be taken lightly. Thus 10 years. I know however life doesn't go as planned so I am using this as only a guide. One thing is for sure- ART is in my blood.

Great list!

You are so cute and youthful looking!

I like all of your assemblage pieces at the bottom of this entry--and I UTTERLY LOVE the one that is framed by dark red plumage!!! I also like the nails, too, though.

My name is Rachael, I found your website when I did an internet search and followed the link over to your journal. I wanted to say that I love your shrines, they're fantastic! I keep a blog at livejournal.com under the name "hawaiianrose" and was wondering if I could send a link to your journal/pictures of your shrines to an artist friend I have on livejournal. You should add these pictures to the website...
