I was called last year to do a show for a room in my house that is Wright inspired . A producer (Brian) saw my thread I posted on Craftster.  They loved it, but didn't have enough other creative types in St. Louis to fill the show...go figure. Best wishes and hopefully they won't do that stupid camera angle like on Crafters Coast to Coast.  :)

That is so Awesome, you will love it. Serg and Chris are amazing to work with!!! My only words of wisdom would be to take a shot right before they start filming:) LOL! I did, but then i forgot I had the little mic on and said some kinda silly things to Marvin that EVERYONE in the crew could hear....just remember to take your mic out if you have to go to your bedroom and scream. I worried about having our whole house clean too, but they generally just do living spaces:) I bet they will get the kitties in there to if you make sure and tell them they are a big part of your art. My friend Julie didn't get her cat in because she didn't have a quick response why her pet is connected with her art besides she's just there. I was lucky to be 3rd on filming, (4 of my bestest friends got to do it too) So I had a lot of coaching before hand....and then had the oppourtunity to help the last person in line. You might want to start practicing saying "I"..." I do this...and I do that" because they will tell you it's not a "teaching show".... they will make you re-do the take if you mess up and say "YOU do this...or next YOU do that"

Ummm??? What else can I think of??? It's funny you want your new studio done, because I was in the same boat...we were moving but couldn't pack until after the show came:) We even thought about renting a cool space to set me up just so we could start packing...It ended up working out really well @ our old loft space....Our brick walls gave it a real "studio feel". I was so relieved when it was finally done...OMG! They come over the day before filming to meet you and give you last minute details...go over your project and make sure you have enough supplies to make it a few times or more depending on what it is? Then on film day they start at 8am and film for half a day straight...Then pack up and go to someone elses house for the Afternoon...It was Crazy Crazy....It leaves you with a very rushed feeling of wondering if you looked cool. Then there's all of the nutty things they ask you to do...I told them first off that I DON"T DANCE!!! so they just went for things like "saying my paintbrush was a magical wand" witch I did not do...I basically made it through w/only one stupid add... They wanted me to act like I was blowing on a sheet of paper as if that's how I dry all of my paper>>>IT WAS SO CHEESE!!!!
