Those look amazing Jane...you are so creative! I haven't been able to do anything w/my scooter due to all of the snow we've been having:( and I still have to learn how to drive it...HA

As for the "thing" in the box- I think it is some rusted stars that are attached to the back. Yes- I will put something in the boxes... kind of like these:
