  • Ideas needed

Tomorrow is the birthday of four people in my family:

    1. My mother. She turns 46 and is vice-principal of a high school. Has eight children, the eldest being almost 25 and the youngest being almost 5. Wants to learn Arabic. Loves traveling.

    2. My father. He turns 49 and is a general manager of a Japanese automotive company. Loves table tennis, tea, and tinkering with tools. Is learning Japanese.

    3. My sister Tina. She turns 17 and is a student in a junior science college. One of the best, most intelligent students in the college; received awards for academic excellence. Wants to be a teacher. Loves to sing.

    4. My sister Mya. She turns 17 and is a student in a junior science college. One of the best, most intelligent students in the college; loves drawing and producing art. Also loves to sing.

Last time I was around for their birthday celebration was six years ago. I can't remember what presents I gave them, but I think I gave my father a photo album filled with pictures of him, arranged chronologically starting from his younger days .

Birthday's tomorrow and I have no ideas for presents for any of them yet.  Any ideas?

It looks like you come from a very good and respectable family. It's good to see that your sisters are striving. Happy birthday to all of them. (Mine's just a day after).

As far as presents go, you should ask them what they want. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of surprising them, but I think it'd be better to give something they actually want. Or you can find out what strikes their fancy from a third party. =]

i know my ideas might be too late but i think books/audiobooks would be great for them depending on their interests as you've mentioned :)
