| Post Wedding Very Post Wedding, sorrrry its been so longHey all. Sorry it has taken me so long to write you again. Life gets busy right after becoming Mrs. Caleb Fennick!!!!! So wedded life is great, wonderful, fun, silly, interesting, exhausting, confusing, odd, no wait that is the husband, hehe. It is great though, Caleb is awesome. If I saw him more it would be nice, but that will change soon as his schedule at work is about to change. The wedding was beautiful, once I get the official pics I will post some for everyone to see. It went very well, we had about 70 people come. Lots of lasagna, garlic bread, salad and cake. Tons of wonderful gifts that I am still writing thank you notes for. :) I got to meet my sister's boyfriend for the first time, he is great! Totally southern. His nickname is Tater-bug. My grandmother did a great job of making it down the aisle, she walked in with her walker and made it to her seat and made it through everything with no problems, just like I knew she would! She's an awesome lady. The reception was a tightly packed high spirited, short, party and dinner. Very fun. The guys found my mom's car that we were leaving in and tastefully decorated it. They had also decorated our apartment very nicely and romantically so that it would be fun when we got home. Red rose petals and lots of candles, and very clean. Music was playing on the computer. Very very good for a group of goof off guys. Shows why I love them like my brothers! Caleb's mom did my hair and my mom's and sister's and her own, it was all beautiful. The woman has talent with those hands. Everyone looked amazing, Caleb's very very eight month pregnant sister surprised him and made it for the pictures before the wedding, he didn't have a clue she was coming! She came in from Missouri. The ring bearer Caleb's nephew and the flower girl, my cousin, were a little antsy, but they did good, until Gavin decided not to walk down the aisle, so Audrey did it herself. It was cute. We are getting ready to go to Pittsburgh in two weeks for our reception there! And to visit Suncrest Camp at the end of their week. Both will be very fun. I can't wait to go back and visit, feels like forever since we have been to PA. And this time I get to go as a Fennick! So that is what is going on and a little update on the wedding. Caleb is an uncle again now, his sister had a baby boy a few weeks ago. So now we have three nephews. Hope everyone is having a good summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | |
| Pre-Wedding! Ok, the wedding is a week from today! And I am soooooo excited, for all of you that are wondering, what the heck, I didn't get an invitation! I am very sorry, we are having a tiny wedding, only family and our long time family friends. So you can come to the party this summer to celebrate, and we wish you all could be here with us on our big day! By the way the big party is in July! In Pittsburgh! So anywho, back to wedding planning, no matter how small your wedding is, there are a million things to do and it all costs MONEY! Ever think about that? It is the not fun part of the wedding stuff. A ton of money all wrapped up in one pretty day. So I am trying to fniish a lot of little stuff. I pick up my dress on Monday, final fitting and all. My sister will be home today! I can't express how happy that makes me! I sewed pearls on my viel las night, need some more. We will start making the lasagna this week for the reception, and people start getting here for the big event on Wednesday! There are a few surprises for the guests along the way, but they will all be good! I need to get directions together for everyone too! I forgot that until now, they might need those. And I have to figure out what to do with my hair, for those of you that don't know, it is very very short. Level with my ears. Kind of crazy for teh wedding eh? My sisters is probably half way down her back by now. And mine is short, we switched that one up a little didn't we? So I am going to have to return to my wedding stuff, but leave me some notes! Love you all and miss you all! | | |
| DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE LARGE BELLE CAME FROM AT THE RIGHT OF THE SCREEN? | | |
| MovingCaleb got moved into the apartment on Saturday/Sunday. It was crazy, one of those days you will never forget. IT started when we found out we could get the keys three days early and move in three days early. Then on Friday night we went to get the trailer to load it up, and it wouldn't hitch right. Took forever. Then my mom got sick, had a gall bladder attack and had to go to the hospital all night, so we didn't load up the trailer that night, next day we loaded the trailer, signed the lease, moved in all the stuff and then went to lunch with mom and dad. They left, we went to Wal-Mart. Went back to apartment. Put some furniture together. It starts to rain. Then the rain freezes. Then mom calls and says the weather is really bad, we need to get back to the house since that is where we were both going to stay that night. We said it was ok, nothing major we wanted to finish getting things put together, then we'd be home. An hour and forty five minutes later, three inches of slush has fallen and we didn't know it. We get in Caleb's car to go back to my house, get down the road drive through a puddle, think nothing of it, then the car starts acting funny, we barely get back to the apartment, and by the time we get into the apartment, we are soaked up to our knees and freezing. Dad came and got me, then I went back to the apartment Sunday afternoon, to help unpack more. We had pizza and watched Forrest Gump. Sunday was good. Since then its been fun and goofy, we're still getting things unpacked, but Caleb is working at a store close to my house instead of close to the apartment right now. So he comes to my house in the evening and we have dinner and hang out and such. Its fun to be dating again in the same state, like we used to hang out in college. And in two months we'll be married! Other news: Sarah turns 19 tomorrow, so everyone call her and leave her messages for her Birthday! My little sis is growing up, her first birthday away from home! YIPEE for her! The wedding plans are slowly coming together, time is getting pressed thin. So pray for that, and also for Caleb's Pap, who is still hanging in there after his accident, he's doing well, but pray for his recovery. | | |
| Apartment SearchingWell, apparently the search is over. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO! Caleb and I decided on an apartment, it is nice, quiet, inexpensive. He will move in on March 1st, Sarah's Birthday!, and we will both be lease holders for the first time in our lives. Kind of scary. Kind of scary to have your name on a peice of paper saying you are responsible for a living establishment. It has a pool, stocked pond to fish in, volleyball, basketball, work-out room, tennis courts, lots of woods, its nice. As nice as you can get first starting out on low incomes. I am happy. It has a cute little breakfast bar seperating the kitchen from the living room. I can't wait till we are actually married and living there. Now to decorate. We will pick out furniture in the next couple of weeks, and decide how to decorate. We can paint at some point as well, that is also nice. I am very excited and glad the search is over! And he will be here in 11 DAYS! The wedding plans are moving along, sometimes surprisingly different than I had imagined. But hey, ya know, things change. My lil sis will be my maid of honor. That will be so much fun. Seeing her in a gorgeous dress will be so much fun, she is such a beautiful girl, young lady. So its home for me now, the day is done, the work week is over! The apartment is found, I can take some resting time now. Keep praying for Caleb's car to keep working, its in the shop again. Two times this week. | | |
