Sara decided that she was ready to publicly commit her life to Jesus by being baptized. On Sunday July 6th, she was baptized in Lake Daecheong. It was peaceful and joyful for our peaceful and joyfilled Sara.
Praise God! We remember the day when Martin decided to take baptism in the west korean sea. Congratulation! Sarah.
I've never seen your blog until I saw it posted on the message boards. This is really cool about Sara's baptism. I didn't hear much about anyone getting baptized while in Daejeon, so its cool and really precious to know you guys encouraged Sara to do it in Korea. That's awesome. Thanks for posting the pictures!
Yea!!! What a blessing! (and she was dunked on Austin's 11th b-day. we can remember that)
My mom was baptized in a lake that you can now see from I-4 - it used to be surrounded by pine trees. My father and I were dunked in a warm baptismal. Lucky us. I've had two friends baptised in swimming pools recently - one at the YMCA, one in his own backyard. And our missionaries in China are using the bathtub for new Christians.
It's all good!!
So happy to hear about Sara's decision for Christ. A momentous event for eternity.
