I'm home this afternoon packing boxes. Listening to Mariah Carey's Dreamlover since it's 100 degrees outside and that's a good happy/summer song. I have about 11 boxes packed so far. I was just doing my thing packing all these books, when I started thinking about the CD I have been playing in my car (g.o.d.) and then realized I had to pack that away. That alarmed me
and I thought about how my auto mover is going to TAKE MY CAR from me and take it to California one day TBD. I think THAT is the moment I will get scared and realize this is real. I am leaving Dallas in 16 days.
I have been here for almost exactly 3 years to the day! I landed here August 17, 2005. It was a Wednesday. This time I am leaving on a plane to Sacramento on July 29, 2008. It will be a Tuesday. Oh man. God is always with me. I love Him for that.

I know that feeling of leaving Dallas. Lived there for 9 years, then returned to Houston 4 years ago. Big part of me still misses Dallas and the AABC family. Hey, but at least the weather in SF is so much nicer than Dallas or Houston! Not to mention better Asian food too!
