I feel the need for a good 'ole 4th of July cook out, but most likely I'll just do it Saturday. Now the trick is coordination. I live in a Chicago Three Flat, with my Apartment in the basement, or "garden apartment" as they tend to call it. Not only do I have to ensure everyone attending brings the proper foods / beverages (all meat although Atkins friendly, does not make a good cook out!!!) but I have to kindly reserve the deck for my use. Pretty much all my neighbors are new, and although I do nod and say hello in passing, I really don't talk to them. I think what I'll do is just put a little note in all their mail boxes. I think that will be alright. I just don't want two different get together's on one deck... my friends are all nice people, as I'm sure are my neighbors, but that doesn't mean I want to hang around with them!

Think a note would suffice? I know I'd be okay with it.

Another Great Place I discovered on my L.A. Trip was In-N-Out Burgers!!!! Their meat's never frozen, and their fries are made right there. Two things on their menu... Burgers and fries!!!
