Sinus pressure. Ick. Ouch. Ack.
Green snot. (TMI? sorry. I just call it like I see it. And no, I don't look in my kleenex...but snot this green glows through the kleenex. Ick. Ack.)
They should make ALL pills gel-coated. 'Cause it ain't no fun when you get a nasty Mucinex caught in your throat. Yuck. Ick. Ack.
HK's got an icky runny nose and some monster boogers going on, too. Fun. Those girls are downing Zyrtec like it's nothing. I hope we don't ALL end up sick. Matt was feeling bad last week, he's got a lingering cough. My throat started that allergy-soreness last Friday or Saturday...it didn't really bother me yesterday, but this morning at 4 am when HK came to my room and I got up to bring her back to her bed, I felt it. In my head. Pressure. Snot. Ick. Ack. Ugh.
And the ONE morning in two weeks we've been able to sleep in, at least a little, we are startled awake by the huge backhoes and other large machinery tearing up the roads a block away. Nice. As if my head didn't hurt enough....the extra sleep would have been nice. Nope. No such luck. Figures.
Oh well...I've already started a load of laundry and the cinnamon rolls are in the oven. If you can't beat 'em, right?
***in spite of all this icky-feeling-ness, I have a few "PRAISE THE LORD's!"
My sister took her state test for her teacher's certification on Saturday - she got her unofficial scores back Monday and SHE PASSED! Now, it's just finishing this summer semester and student teaching this fall, GRADUATION IN DECEMBER, BABY!!!
And....her fiance, Cory, got a voicemail from DPS yesterday with a "conditional job offer". He's been doing the tests and such since June, and he had his orals the end of July...now all he has to do is pass the psych and then go through the academy! Woo-hoo!
THIS is why they are waiting until June '09 to get married (well, that and the fact that Meg wanted to make sure mom and dad could save up enough money!) I'm proud of my "baby" sister and my future brother-in-law. Good stuff!

sorry you are feeling sick. It must be that time of year... I know a few other people going through the same thing. What a sucky time, when it's hot and muggy and hard to breath in the first place. I hope it goes away really soon!
Oh yuck! Sorry you're feeling bad - I'm praying you get better quick!!!
A little better, but not much. it didn't help to have to go to work today. But when I got home I laid in bed and watched most of season three of the office. That helped a little. And now I'm having a green apple smirnoff Ice. Good stuff. that always makes a bad day a little better.
