Harold posted a video of a song by Flight of the Conchords so I had to share this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7_M1vlLdTo  The song is called "You're So Beautiful" and it's pretty funny :D

On Friday Marc had a "helmet doctor" appt.  His head grew a little bit since last time and the dr. ground out a little bit of the foam in his helmet to give him more room.  In the afternoon I hung out with Angel.  Yay :)  And sometime after that I went with Manny to the cemetary to practice driving (first time since last summer when I was pregnant).  I don't remember if I did anything else that day... what a terrible short term memory!  I need to start making little notes on my calendar again.

Saturday = yard sales, estate sale, Costco.  Practiced driving a little again and drove on a 'real' street for a little bit!  Kind of scary.

Sunday we went to a flea market, church, then Iris and Jun's place in Oakland for lunch.  That evening we ate dinner at Aunt Kinh's house and got to see Aunt Julie, Elizabeth, Leslie, Connie, Jessica and Christopher.  Yay, cousins and family :)

Some random little things concerning Marc:

Sometime last week he was crawling around the floor and I was around (in the same room), doing other things when he started crawling towards me.  When he got to me, he put his hands on my feet/ankles, started crying/whimpering a little and had this sad look on his face like he wanted me to pick him up.  He has since done this quite a few other times (sometimes without getting all sad) and to Manny also.

Today I stopped at the library after grocery shopping at Giant Eagle to nurse Marc.  I had a light blanket over me and while he was nursing, I lifted it a little so he could see my face and then put the blanket back over him.  Anyhoo, he laughed when he saw me.  So I did it a few more times (and he laughed every time).  So cute.

This Saturday we are having a yard sale from 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Feel free to stop by.

Possibly too much information (TMI) up ahead.  You have been warned.

Marc used to be a little night owl (like us).  Now we're in the process of shifting his schedule a few hours so he goes to bed around midnight (we want this to be earlier) and wakes up at a decent hour (8ish).  Yesterday morning Manny woke him up and took him to feed him some baby food and juice.  Meanwhile, since he had Marc and my breasts were full (more like engorged), I pumped... something I hadn't done in a while.  To my surprise and delight, I ended up getting 5.25 oz. total.  We did the same thing today and I ended up with 7 oz. (although today I slept a little more so there was more time for milk to be produced).  Yay, milk!  This expressed breast milk will be used in his oatmeal/corn baby cereal (which he likes a LOT more than formula).  Manny tasted the formula yesterday and gagged.

Lately when we've been giving Marc juice we do it via a bottle (fast flow nipple) because it's a little (but not much more) time efficient and definitely less messy than spoon feeding.  He still isn't very good at drinking out of them that well though... just a couple sucks and then he'll turn his head away.  I hope that soon he'll be able to hold and drink from a sippy cup on his own since he's not good with bottles.

Did I mention already that his two front teeth are coming in?  One if not both have broken through his gums.

What else...  Yesterday we took my mom to physical therapy near the Fox Chapel/Waterworks/Aspinwall area.  Manny dropped Marc and me off at the Waterworks outdoor mall and he went for a quick ride.  Afterwards we all had lunch at Panera.  We took Mom home and by that time, Dad was home from work so we stayed a while.

A little later on I also went to Oakland to meet up with Marissa and Melinda while Manny watched Marc.  After getting off the bus, I'm almost positive I saw someone I knew, but by that time they were too far ahead of me.  It felt pretty weird being in Oakland... like I was disconnected.  Marissa wasn't in Oakland when I got there so I called another friend to see if she was available since I hadn't seen her since Marc was born......... no such luck.  After M got back, we went over to Harold's place for a little bit to visit, but mostly watched him and his friend play video games............................  (To his credit, they specifically met up to play otherwise I'm sure we all would've talked more.)  Anyhoo, we left after about 20-30 minutes and then went downtown to the PPG plaza to see a robot installation thing (they took a bunch of goofy pictures haha) and to the Wood Street Galleries and SPACE gallery (both are free all the time).  Really neat stuff, especially at SPACE.  I asked the guy working who I should talk to if I want some of my work to be exhibited and he gave me an e-mail.  I'm hoping that I'm not just talk... it'd be so awesome to have my art there.. to be displayed and sold (a lot of the pieces were also for sale).

At the moment Manny is out for a quick ride.  We're going to church after he gets back, then Costco, then I'm going to an estate sale.  This afternoon we're eating linner at my aunt's with my parents and Estelle.  :)

I am in love with Jamba Juice!!!  Too bad the only one here in Pittsburgh is at Duquesne's campus (I searched for locations on their site).

The Dark Knight was pretty good.

The outdoor shopping area at Glendale (next to the mall... not sure what it's called) is really nice.  Perhaps too fancy for my taste!  Complete with live music and a beautiful fountain!  Everyone in LA is so frickin trendy!!!!!!!

Anthropologie is a cool store.  Too bad I can't afford anything in there...

Marc doesn't like mac n cheese.  He is also definately teething.  He'll have a tooth or probably two (the ones in the front on the bottom) pretty soon...
