I enjoy collecting pictures of quotes, etc. I found this one downtown in a little coffee shop near the University. Anyone know the author of the quote?
I have never heard of it, but I'd say it's pretty darn good-wouldn't you?
Very thought-provoking. Now I will have something to ponder on before I sleep. Thanks, Uncle Jim! :)
No, but I really like it. I also like the way it's displayed. Very cool!
@k8tthelate - I thought is was wonderful. All that good, positive thought and the smell of coffee. MMMMmmmmmm. Good Maxwell House is MMMMMmmmmmm Good. They don't serve Maxwell House but they have some good stuff. Do you like coffee. If so, "that's good beans."
@FreeeVerse - You are more than welcome and I enjoyed your latest update thingy. But remember, this message was in a coffee house. Don't drink coffee before you got bed, unless you are going to ponder; if you are going to sleep, it can be a bit of an interference.
Thanks for being my friend; I love getting pictures, etc. from you.Uncle Jim
@roughstring414 - Roughstring, you make my heart sing.....sort of a lose thing from Jimi Hendrix if my disrememberer is working. I think it was " Wild Thing.' I still thing Jimi was a genius, I don't care who you are. Bach was too. I can't tell you are from my era, 'cause you say "cool" and I think that's sooooo"cool." I just had to try that ooooothingy, all the young folks seem to getting some kind of pleasure from it. It didn't do a whole lot for me yet, Who knows what tomorrow might bring. Today brought us sunshine, tomorrow might bring us rain.

HOW HAVE YOU GOTTEN SO MANY FRIENDS ALREADY??? You've taken to this Xanga, haven't you!
yay!
I really like this quote as well, I googled it and ran all kinds of code on my search, but I can't find it anywhere on the web, so I guess the artist wrote it? They should hurry up and get it on the internet and copyright it!!!
@msmarie0106 - thanks I got some kind of same thingy from getting lost in London. Where did that come from.
@msmarie0106 - well, see right, lost in London-we likely would make good friends but who is it/ a friend of yours is a friend of mine.
@msmarie0106 - Well, I don't know what happened, but I now have a friend in London. Aint that good?
HAHA!!! I enjoyed the post and picture...but I'm laughing at all the comments and replies!!! They are good. :) I'm not big on doing the "oooooo" thing, but I do get carried away with "......" (it's my thinking sound). I know it annoys some people, so I try to keep it to a minimum. I'm glad you're enjoying xanga. The Fortunes really are sweet people and great musicians! I find them a little annoying since they don't know a "stick of real music" and can accomplish so much. Just kidding! I'm grateful they put their talent to good use. I hope you've had a wonderful day! Looking forward to seeing you again at church (?).
Tag you're it!
It's amazing to me too that they don't know a "stick of real music." One of my long time interests, since I love jazz, which is primarily Improvised, is how do you do that?
I would love to sit down with them and ask questions. They are sweet and truly blessed an committed. I do want to get to know them better so they feel comfortable talking with and old man that disremembers things. That would really be fun. thanks for you friendship, regards to your family, and keep on smiling; cause when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you. Do you know that song? Uncle JIm
Hey, I love that song, especially with roughstring instead of wild thing in there. LOL I know, the things these teens say today (I work with them at church) amazes and confuses me LOL. So, does your signature on my site, mean I can call you Uncle Jim, too? Please say it's so!
