Graduation 2008
Daniel had a great day. One that begins early in the South to try to beat the heat. Graduation starte at 9:00 and was attended by over 7,000 friends, family members and those just generally interested in large crowds.
Daniel had quite a few family members and friends in attendance. Some have been family members for years, others are young friends, some others include classmates.
I met Daniel right after he received his diploma. I told him that the "World is at your feet, take the steps that God and your parents have taught you and you will not stumble." He begins work on his Masters next fall on a teaching/study grant from his alma mater.
DANIEL WE ARE ALL PROUD OF YOU.
Uncle Jim

Whoo Hoo for Daniel. I'll have to go by his site and say Congrats.
Jimmy, you and Kay made Daniel's graduation day very special. You both have been there for him, supported him (both spiritually and monetarily), and have loved him through all of this. He couldn't have done this without you. And that laptop y'all gave him for graduation from GMC helped get him through all of his classes. I think he loves it more than me.... LOL.
I think the reception went great. We had a good turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank y'all for letting us have it at your house! And thank you both for all you did! I love y'all.
