It was an absolutely beautiful day here in New York.

It snowed like a bitch but it was the kind of snow that stuck to every branch. White powdered sugar crusted every twig and every inch of dirty concrete. For a day, we got to forget that we live with millions and millions of people, all of us on one big rock, stuggling to get to the next week, overlooking each other, pushing and shoving. For one day the snow covered all of us.

I took this pic today at Fort Tryon Park this afternoon. The picture makes it seem like I had the whole park to myself.

Larry and I also had a New York City first today. There's a big old white house up here on the border of Washington Heights/SugarHill/Upper Harlem that belongs to the city. It's the oldest house in New York City and was built in 1750(?). George Washington actually stayed there while he fought the American Revolution. Very interesting. This city never ceases to amaze me.

Your words fall as soft and pretty as the virgin snow.  Your pictures are as verbose as your words, even more so.

I dream of living in big cities lately, not sure why....or maybe I AM.  Perhaps it's my subconscience telling me to get out more and be less of a recluse?!

Anyway Joey, sorry I have been so scarce, my internet sucks out here and I haven't much patience for it.

I'm glad to see you back and I hope this time you will stay, I enjoy the beauty of your words and the warmth of your aura.

More updates from me "Coming Soon"

BE WELL.

Yo Ms,

Thanks so much for the kind words.   I can understand the desire to live in a big city, I'm about to pack my tired ass out of the big apple soon.  I want to move to the country....where it's quiet.
