| | Well, I got the sweetest e-mail today from my beloved. He was
just as nice as can be and although he didn't commit to spending the
rest of his life with me, he told me all about what was happening in
his life right now and when we might be able to get together. Of
course I'm already overanalyzing his e-mail. He said maybe we
could get together for drinks on Sunday afternoon or evening. I'm
not sure exactly what he meant by drinks, but dinner would sound more
like a date. I'm going to try to not think so much about
it. He also asked me if I ever go for bike rides along the river
bike path and invited me to join him on one of his evening rides.
Now if that isn't a good reason to go out and buy a bike, I don't know
what is. Actually, I've been meaning to buy a bike ever since I
moved back to Eugene two years ago. Work was hectic this week and
I have one more day of work before my one-day weekend on Sunday.
It was pretty darn hot today and there are even hotter days ahead
according to the forecast. More good news: My caffeine
withdrawl headaches have subsided and I'm feeling peppy and even
through these hot days I haven't been craving my soft drinks.
