Despite my late and lazy start, I was able to get quite a bit done on my roof.  I put the finishing touches on the framing and painting and got started on putting on the roofing panels.  The most nerve wracking part of the day was taking the Skilsaw to a stack of ten panels (about $153 worth) to trim fifteen inches off the ends of them--that went  very smoothly.  Here's how the reframed portion of the roof ended up, with the old roof pictured below that:

There's a chance of showers by Thursday, so I hope to have the patio mostly closed in by then.  I plan on hiring a roofer to flash around the chimney and take care of a few of the transitions from the old roof to the new.
