| | I was concerned yesterday when I realized we would be "losing" an hour today. My days off go quickly enough as it is without cutting them short by an hour. Well, I was worried for nothing. Today was another one of those magical days off that seemed to last forever. I had a stack of postcards to sell on eBay this week and I told myself I wanted them all up on eBay this weekend. Last night after work I still had a lot left to do, and I wasn't feeling too motivated. I did finally get going around 9:00 last night, but still left plenty for today. I went to bed about midnight, slept well and got up after seven hours of sleep at 8:00 a.m. and felt really good. I took a shower then got right to work on my postcards and finished putting the last one on eBay just before noon. My plan was to go running this afternoon, but today ended up being cross training day with a big-ass walk in the afternoon (including a brisk walk up to the top of Skinner Butte) and a bike ride around 6:00 p.m. After the walk and before the ride, I worked on switching a small fluorescent fixture above my sink. I was just going to poke around up there to see what was happening, but before I knew it, I was replacing the old one with the recessed unit that I had salvaged from my bedroom ceiling. I'll post photos later. Right now I'm pooped. Not only am I having no problem adjusting to the time change, but I was ready to go to bed at 9:30 tonight, which would have been 8:30 last night. Now, an hour later, I think I will make serious my threat to go to bed.
