Lord Give Me StrengthTherefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear, Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?--- Matt 6:25-27

Done with the didactic year!

It has been nearly one year since I moved to Atlanta.  Last Friday I completed the lectures, powerpoints, and testing for the didactic portion of my PA training.  It's been a crazy year and I couldn't have made it without my friends and classmates:

There were lots of other pics of other people, but these were the best ones since my last post.  So, in celebration of completing one year of PA school I hiked up a mountain with some guys from NCA:

This summer I've gotten closer to many friends, enjoyed what outdoor activities Georgia has to offer, and been tested academically, spiritually, and emotionally.  It's been some trying times.  I thought that I didn't belong in this program several times, or that I should be back in Texas taking care of other business or tending to other concerns.  But, I think I'm all the better for all of the decisions I've made and the paths God has led me on.  Before coming to Atlanta, and since.  That's what my verse means to me.  If you have any other interpretations of Romans 8:28, I'd be glad to hear them.  But, this belief is what gives me freedom and strength.  Just one man's opinion.

Congrats on finishing your first year!  It really seems like you've settled in nicely to Atlanta.  See you in a few weeks @ Ant's wedding.
