Joshvar.com should be back up and working soon, and I'm gonna go back to using that. I found a really cool webhost (thanks Tiem!) that does exactly what I want: MULTIPLE DOMAINS FOR ONE ACCOUNT, and it's doing it for free for 3 years. Garbagegenerator.com has gotten some, but not a lot, of work lately, so it's not near completion. It'll be a bigger thing than Joshvar.com coulda dreamed of.

I learned some PHP today, sat around, and did not much at work today. I've worked 7-4 this week, and it's been a semi-welcome change. At least I get out of here early. I have a shitload I COULD write about, but I'm not going to yet. I'm leaving for Plano after work, then New York to see Ruthie on Friday, then we're going to Maryland to see my family on the following Thursday (maybe Friday), then I come back to Austin (alone :( ) the following Monday. So no updates till after the 5th, but that's nothing my neglected Xanga didn't expect.

So since I forgot to put it in my AIM away message, I'll see you guys in the 04, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Um...Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, and Happy New Year, and any other holidays can eat it.

Also, unbeknownst to me, I got not one, but THREE separate awards at the meeting I mentioned last time. One gave me an additional day off!!! I like work more now :D

WOOOHOOOO OVER A MONTH WITHOUT POSTING SHIT I'M THE FUCKIN MAN

Anyhow, hi! I've had plenty to update about, but not much time to update in. The few times I have time to update, I'm usually sleeping, or resting, or doing something else that is way cooler than BLOGGING. But wait...nothing is cooler than blogging is it? Well I'll blog away and see...

Ruthie and I celebrated our 9 months together on Wednesday with pizza and TV. It was deceptively fun. I love you honey!!!

Thanksgiving is coming up and I doubt I'll be able to meet/match my 6lb record. My cousins, however, will be a different story altogether. I fear for the lives of cows, chickens, turkeys and pigs everywhere.

My job keeps me busy for a full 8 hours a day now, holy fuck is it weird. I can't even e-mail people most of the time.

Taco Bueno is going to begin franchising next year, and hopefully Austin is targeted. The VP of Operations said so!

And I have a meeting...about those 8 hours a day........

There's too many things to write about that I don't really know where to start. So I'll just do recent news.

My Ruthie and I had a really good weekend in Dallas, kicked off by seeing her mom on Friday night, celebrating our 8 month anniversary* Saturday, visiting the Casa de Guptas that night, and then going to the Fair on Sunday with my cousin Jordan, and then eating dinner and heading back to Austin...sweet, sweet Austin.

* If you're nerdy enough to do the calculations based on our other anniversaries, we kinda changed it based on when we started going out, rather than the later date, which holds more significance.

Anyhow, I'm giving eProps to Mushkin for taking my visibly scarred memory back, and Antonio at Jason's Deli for being my new lunch hookup. Also, it was cool to see B.I.G. Yellow aka Ross on the side of the road switching to his reserve tank on the way back from lunch. eProps to him for doing the motorcycle thing with Notorious K.E.V. I know rapper names for friends and white folk are overplayed, but they're roommates and matching names are cute, in the same way that 2 naked gay men making out is cute.

(I'm not gay).

I have done a lot of little tidying-up things for the new site, which is down until the first real revision is done. It'll be pretty neat once I get it up, but I'll need some writers for it because, as you can see, it's a bit sparse around here lately. Anyhow...I've gotta get back to work and stare out into the sky and hope that it doesn't rain this weekend. Please.

Race for the Cure is coming up on November 2nd, and the vars (Ruthie and myself) are participating! I need to get back into running shape a bit, but it's only a 5k (3.1 miles), so it's nothing I have to break myself to do :P I figure I'm sorta grown up, and sorta in shape, and it's about damn time I start doing things for people like my aunt and Kevin's mom (both breast cancer survivors!). Plus, Ruthie's a cancer survivor, just not in the brestular area (yay!!!).

I just want to know if there are any people who read this who would like to pitch in a couple of bucks as donations, which will be matched by the corporate entity I work for if I donate more than $50. Also, I like my new USB Flash Drive. It's not the smallest in physical size, but it's nice and was cheap after rebates. If you're looking for them, head down to Best Buy, and look for the FujiFilm 128MB and 256MB. They're the ones with tasty rebate treats attached :)
