I'm Yours
see relatedFriday was not just my birthday, but also my mom's birthday. She and my brother John, David and the kids and I all met for dinner. Cameron was not on his best behavior. Let's say that for following what he knows as "the Restaurant Rules", he was batting about 212. He was also "sent to the bench" twice, going out swinging. Consequently, he did not get much dinner down before the birthday cake was carried out, accompanied by song and candlelight.
Because Cameron ate so little of his dinner, David cut Cameron's helping of cake especialy small. In fact, it was so much smaller than what he had come to expect as normal that he protested. David was handing it to Cameron with a fork and napkin when Cameron shook his head emphatically "no", held his right hand out in the universal "stop" position, and exclaimed, "That's not MY cake."
So. Funny.
