| | Last night I shot these cross-processed-look photos of Eddie and Lili for use in a book of Australian designers being done overseas. Managed to achieve a Mario Bava-esque movie lighting look with a mere 2 clamp lights, but otherwise the rather raw look and unkempt/casual chic of the subjects keeps it informal and fun. Not bad...
This is actually the third author shot I've done in the past two years, having done one for both Christa Faust for HOODTOWN and for long-time pal Nathan Long for his Warhammer fantasy novels.
Being from three generations of pro photographers (my grandfather Levi Rainville started during the era of glass plates, and my dad after a career in portraiture is currently a dean at the New England School of Photography), you'd think I'd be a better photographer, but man I just tend to suck.
